  • Patent number: 11938829
Abstract: A third rail paddle system includes a support assembly configured for attachment to a vehicle, a pivot connection attached to the support assembly and that defines a range of up and down movement, and a third rail paddle assembly having an arm unit and a paddle. The paddle assembly is attached to the pivot connection for the paddle to contact a third rail and move up and down relative to the third rail when the support assembly is attached to the vehicle. One of the pivot connection, the paddle assembly, or the support assembly includes a stop element that limits the range of the up and down movement and prevents the paddle assembly from moving downwards to a bottom of the range of movement.

  • Publication number: 20220266696
Abstract: A shunt apparatus includes a mounting bracket assembly configured for connection to a vehicle, an actuator connected to the mounting bracket assembly, and a shoe unit connected to the actuator. The actuator is controllable to move the shoe unit to an extended position where a conductive shoe of the shoe unit is positioned to contact a conductive first running surface on which the vehicle travels. The shoe unit includes a resilient biasing assembly that is configured to exert a force on the shoe, to press the shoe against the running surface during movement of the vehicle. Two of the shunt apparatuses may be attached to opposite sides of the vehicle. The shoes of the two shunt apparatuses are electrically connected to one another by an electrical cable. When the shoes are brought into contact with respective running surfaces, the running surfaces are electrically shunted for vehicle signaling purposes or otherwise.

  • Patent number: 10213719
Abstract: A cam lock system for an air intake filter housing is provided that includes a clevis rod adapted for connection to a bolt on the air intake filter housing; a cam handle; a filter clamp coupled to the cam handle, the filter clamp having one or more cam surfaces thereon, the cam handle and filter clamp pivotally connected to a first end of the clevis rod; a spring carrier disposed at the second end of the clevis rod; and a spring disposed on the clevis rod and restrained between the spring carrier and a washer disposed on the clevis rod. The cam surface engages the washer and pivotal movement of the cam handle and filter clamp causes compression of the spring via the washer to provide clamping force to secure an air filter element in the air intake filter housing.

  • Patent number: 9404488
Abstract: A pressurized oil delivery system for a reciprocating air compressor includes an oil pump having an inlet port connected to an oil pickup tube and an outlet port connected to a filter inlet tube and a user interface panel mounted to a crankcase of the air compressor. The filter inlet tube may be connected to an oil filter assembly supported on an exterior face of the user interface panel. A pressure regulating valve may be provided in line in the filter inlet tube upstream of the oil filter assembly. An oil fill port may be located on the user interface panel. An oil level indicator may be connected to an oil level indicator tube passing through and supported by the user interface panel. An oil pressure measurement port may be provided on the user interface panel.
