  • Patent number: 10515638
Abstract: A system, method, and computer readable medium that facilitate user authentication via voice biometrics in a network system featuring interactive voice response system access is provided. The voice biometric authentication mechanisms alleviate identity theft occurring via specific interactive voice response transactions. A voice biometrics authentication system interfaces with an interactive network platform and may be hosted by a third party provider of voice biometric technologies.

    Assignee: West Corporation
Inventors: Andrea Whitmore, Aaron Scott Fisher, Steven John Schanbacher, Andrew Lawrence Groothuis, Jacob Ginsburg, Gerald Thomas Annin, Pamela J. Jacobs
  • Patent number: 10402492
Abstract: Creating and processing a natural language grammar set of data based on an input text string are disclosed. The method may include tagging the input text string, and examining, via a processor, the input text string for at least one first set of substitutions based on content of the input text string. The method may also include determining whether the input text string is a substring of a previously tagged input text string by comparing the input text string to a previously tagged input text string, such that the substring determination operation determines whether the input text string is wholly included in the previously tagged input text string.

  • Patent number: 9244901
Abstract: A method, a computer readable medium, and a system for tagging Natural language application. In the method, utterances are analyzed using one or more rules, and a tag is assigned to the analyzed utterances based on the one or more rules. The analysis of the utterances may include determining a frequency of the utterances, and grouping the utterances by their determined frequency and their assigned tag. The frequency may represent a number of occurrences in natural language where the utterances share semantic meanings, for example. Further, the one or more rules may be prioritized, and each of the utterances may be analyzed using the prioritized rules. In this manner, meaning may be assigned to utterances such that groups of utterances may be tagged simultaneously.
