Abstract: A gaming system is disclosed which comprises a plurality of reels, each reel comprising a plurality of symbols from a set of symbols, a symbol selector arranged to select a plurality of symbols from each reel for display, a reel selector arranged to select at least one reel, a function allocator arranged to allocate a function to at least one selected reel such that each displayed symbol on said at least one selected reel acquires the function, and a game outcome generator arranged to determine a game outcome based on the displayed symbols and on the function allocated to said at least one selected reel. A corresponding method of gaming is also disclosed.

Abstract: A mud ring assembly for supporting an electrical device including a base member configured to be coupled to a junction box having a first corner and a second corner. The base member has a perimeter configured to extend around the first corner and not reach the second corner so that the base member is not positioned above the second corner. The mud ring assembly also includes a movable member configured to support the electrical device. The movable member is pivotably connected to the base member and pivotable relative to the base member between a closed position in which a back of the electrical device is enclosed in the junction box and an open position permitting access to the back of the electrical device. The movable member is couplable at a second portion of the junction box to selectively secure the movable member in the closed position.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to combination sunscreen and insect repellant compositions. The combination sunscreen and insect repellant compositions contain (i) diethyl toluamide (or N,N-Diethyl-3-methylbenzamide or DEET), and (ii) one or more sunscreen components, with each sunscreen component being capable of absorbing ultraviolet light rays. The combination sunscreen and insect repellant compositions may contain additional composition components such as a polymeric binder system, and deionized water. The present invention is also directed to methods of making and using combination sunscreen and insect repellant compositions.

Abstract: A mud ring assembly includes a base member, a movable member, and at least one actuator. The base member is configured to be coupled to a junction box and includes a flange, an opening extending through the flange, and at least one threaded hole extending through the flange. Each threaded hole is spaced apart from the opening. The movable member is positioned in the opening and is configured to support an electrical device. The movable member includes a first edge and a second edge. The first edge is positioned adjacent the first side of the flange and the second edge is positioned adjacent the second side of the flange. The movable member further includes at least one slot positioned proximate the first edge. Each slot is aligned with one threaded hole. The actuator includes a threaded portion, a head, and a bearing flange. Each actuator is secured in one slot by the head and the bearing flange. Each actuator is rotatable relative to the slot.

Abstract: In the present application, we report a pigment preparation comprised of an aluminum pigment, a dispersing additive and a solvent, that can either 1) reach high, >10% solids with favorable rheology; 2) be formulated into high alcohol systems; or 3) both. The pigment preparation of the present application has better formulation flexibility than other VMP aluminum pigment slurries currently available on the market.

Abstract: Embodiments relate to enabling a user of data-sharing applications executing on a computing device to indirectly exchange objects between the applications by adding objects from the applications to a journal application that manages a display area. The objects are displayed in the display area. The journal application collects metadata related to the objects and automatically curates lists of the objects according to the metadata. Curation of a list may involve moving objects into a list, merging objects, creating new objects out of content of existing objects, grouping objects according to a commonality thereof, etc. Machine learning services may be invoked to acquire additional metadata about the objects and to make curation decisions.

Abstract: One embodiment of the present disclosure may take the form of a method of dispersing scents in congruity with entertainment. Multiple scents are dispersed into the environment surrounding a participant at various points in congruity with visual entertainment. The scents are selectively provided at various times to coincide with the display of one or more elements in the entertainment experience such as a location or character. One embodiment of the present disclosure may take the form of a system for blending scents. The system includes an airflow source, a plurality of scent distributors, and a controller operably coupled to the airflow source and plurality of scent distributors to selectively control delivery of the scents from the plurality of scent distributors to bulk airflow delivered to a participant environment.

Abstract: A mud ring assembly for supporting an electrical device includes a base member and a movable member. The base member is configured to be coupled to a junction box and includes a planar portion defining an opening extending through the portion. The movable member includes a wall enclosing a space receiving the electrical device. The movable member includes a hinge feature selectively couplable with one of a plurality of hinge features of the base member to pivotably couple the movable member in different arrangements relative to the base member. Depending on a particular configuration, the movable member may be pivoted relative to the base member between a closed position and an open position about various axes and in various directions.

Abstract: Described herein are metallic pigment-containing inks having a magnitude of exotherm <1200 J/g, or no observable exotherm at all. Also described are metallic pigment-containing inks that include 9.0 wt % or less nitrocellulose resin, or which are essentially free of nitrocellulose resin. Further described are articles printed with the described metallic pigment-containing inks, kits including such inks (and other inks), and methods of printing with such inks. The metallic pigment-containing ink described herein reduce, if not eliminate, the tendency of inks containing metallic pigments to spark and combust.

Abstract: A pigment pellet preparation, comprises one or more effect pigment and one or more thermosetting resin. The effect pigment is dispersed in the thermosetting resin. The thermosetting resin has 3 or more reactive terminal groups and has an acid number from about 10 to about 50 mg KOH/g resin. The preparation comprises from about 70% to about 90% by weight of one or more effect pigment and from about 5% to about 35% by weight of one or more thermosetting resin. The pigment and thermosetting resin comprise about 95% or more of the preparation. The pellets have a diameter of about 0.5 mm to about 5 mm and a length of about 1 mm to about 5 cm.

Abstract: A paint composition comprises a carrier material, a plurality of ambient light absorbing pigment particles dispersed in the carrier material comprising a component that absorbs predetermined visible wavelengths, and a plurality of fluorescent pigment particles dispersed in the carrier material, wherein the fluorescent pigment particles emit a first color and the paint composition emits a second color different from the first color when illuminated by an ultraviolet light source. The paint composition can act as a video projection surface with usable screen gain.

Abstract: Provided is a system, method and computer readable medium for detecting at least one non-compliant commercial card transaction for a plurality of transactions received from a merchant, and for generating at least one score for a received transaction, based at least partially on a scoring model, to determine whether a transaction is non-compliant. The scoring model includes at least one score determined by unsupervised learning with feedback from score influencing rules, case disposition data, transactional data, historical data and old scoring models and automatically modifying, at predefined intervals, the scoring model based on current score influencing rules and case disposition data. Machine learning is programmed to score the model based at least partially on a probability-based outlier detection algorithm and a clustering algorithm and to provide a case presentation system for audit and review of scored transactions and to receive input comprising case disposition data and score influencing rules.
