  • Publication number: 20240135290
Abstract: A punch item management tool may be provided that coordinates and guides the process of taking a punch item from creation to completion. As one possibility, the punch item management tool may coordinate and guide the interactions between a creator of a punch item, a punch item manager for the punch item, and one or more assignees that are expected to perform work on the punch item. As another possibility, the punch item management tool may coordinate and guide the interactions between an individual serving the dual role of creator and punch item manager for a punch item and one or more assignees that are expected to perform work on the punch item. In either case, the punch item management tool may provide a user interface including various views through which these individuals may interact with one or more punch items.

  • Patent number: 11940848
Abstract: An electronic device display may have pixels formed from crystalline semiconductor light-emitting diode dies, organic light-emitting diodes, or other pixel structures. The pixels may be formed on a display panel substrate. A display panel may extend continuously across the display or multiple display panels may be tiled in two dimensions to cover a larger display area. Interconnect substrates may have outwardly facing contacts that are electrically shorted to corresponding inwardly facing contacts such as inwardly facing metal pillars associated with the display panels. The interconnect substrates may be supported by glass layers. Integrated circuits may be embedded in the display panels and/or in the interconnect substrates. A display may have an active area with pixels that includes non-spline pixels in a non-spline display portion located above a straight edge of the display and spline pixel in a spline display portion located above a curved edge of the display.

  • Patent number: 9398301
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention provide techniques for encoding chunks of a video file in parallel. Embodiments may divide a source video file into a plurality of chunks, and may encode each chunk at a rate based upon complexity data associated with the chunk. The encoded chunks may then be reassembled to produce an encoded video file.

  • Patent number: 9010757
Abstract: A target and object receiving device that includes a base portion having an outer edge and a lower coupling area disposed on a top surface of the base portion. An upper portion is spaced vertically from the base portion and includes an outer edge and an upper coupling area disposed on a bottom surface of the upper portion. A separator extends vertically from the lower coupling area to the upper coupling area. Either: (a) the top surface of the base portion approaches the bottom surface of the upper portion as the top surface extends from the outer edge of the base portion toward the lower coupling area; or (b) the bottom surface of the upper portion approaches the top surface of the base portion as the bottom surface of the upper portion extends from the outer edge of the base portion toward the upper coupling area.
