  • Patent number: 11436806
Abstract: Systems and methods are described to render a Live Avatar View third-person view as an overlay of a first person Spectator View, as mirrored from a Virtual Reality headset, in a Dual Perspective View. In some embodiments, a clinician tablet may display Dual Perspective View with a full screen Spectator View, to maximize visibility, and render a translucent avatar from Live Avatar View (LAV) to overlay the Spectator View for simultaneous visibility during a therapy session. Spectator View may be critical to monitor for therapy guidance and an LAV conveys valuable movement and safety data. A translucent avatar overlay and activity cues allows monitoring the avatar from Live Avatar View in a way that would not block the Spectator View or occlude other body parts potentially hidden.

  • Patent number: 8444169
Abstract: A trailer hitch coupler to couple a trailer to a trailer hitch includes a socket adapted for receiving a trailer hitch ball; a clamp associated with the socket and operable for engaging the trailer hitch ball; a sensor operatively connected with the socket and operable for determining a distance between an inner surface of the socket and an outer face of the trailer hitch ball when the trailer hitch ball is positioned within the socket; a clamp prevention device operatively connected with the socket and with the clamp and operable to prevent engagement of the clamp with the trailer hitch ball; and a release mechanism operatively connected with the sensor and the clamp prevention device and operable to release the clamp prevention device to allow the clamp to engage the trailer hitch ball when the sensor communicates a desired hitch condition.

  • Publication number: 20090308989
Abstract: A device for enhancing the posture of a seated person using a personal viewing item can be placed on and supported by at least a portion of the user's lap or some other support surface, such as a table. The posture enhancement device can facilitate or otherwise force the user in positioning his hands at or above the level of the sternum. As a result, the user's head is kept up and in line with his hands and/or the personal viewing item held in the user's hands. As a result, the user's spine is kept in a neutral position, and the seated user achieves a more ergonomically correct posture when using a personal viewing item. A downward angle of the head is avoided, thereby minimizing future long term health issues that can develop from prolonged periods in such an incorrect posture.

  • Publication number: 20070238444
Abstract: A system that multiplexes a plurality of wireless devices with a wireless network, each of the wireless devices bring a common telephone number. The system assigns a predefined access time for each of said wireless devices. The system also assigns a predefined length of time during which each of said wireless devices will have access to said wireless network. A sequence of accesses to the wireless network can then be initiated in accordance with the predefined access time and the predefined length of time such that a maximum of one of the wireless devices accesses said local network at a tine.
