  • Publication number: 20070056349
Abstract: A tool for pulling a dent out of a sheet metal surface has a support post with a foot shaped to rest against a portion of the sheet metal surface adjacent the dent. The tool includes a hinged lever arm which is pivotally connected to this support post at a lever arm pivot point which is elevated above the foot and adjacent sheet metal region. The tool also includes a pulling rod for coupling, through a fastener or connecting means, to the dented portion of the surface which is to be drawn-out, the pulling rod being connected to the hinged lever arm through a pivoting joint. The pivoting joint of the pulling rod and the lever arm pivoting point are positionable through actuation of the lever arm able to lie in a common plane which is substantially parallel to the sheet metal surface into which the dent is to be drawn into alignment. The pulling rod is adjustable in its engagement with the lever arm to permit the lever arm to swing through a limited angular range.

  • Publication number: 20070046020
Abstract: A conduit for use in association with an air conditioning or refrigeration system. Conduit has first and second conduit portions, and swivel providing fluid communication between first and second conduit portions. Swivel permits rotational movement of the first conduit portion relative to the second conduit portion. Swivel is constrained to prevent linear movement between the first and second portions at the swivel. Conduit also has a fitting for external connection of the conduit to a pressure port of air conditioning or refrigeration system, fitting for fluid communication with the first and second conduit portions. The conduit provides sealed fluid communication from first conduit portion, swivel and second conduit portion to air conditioning or refrigeration system when fitting is connected to air conditioning or refrigeration system. There are also conduit adapters, injection hose assemblies, and charging manifolds with swivels, and methods of utilizing such conduits and swivels.

  • Publication number: 20060073921
Abstract: A method and apparatus for playing a game similar to ping-pong where a ball is bounced from one table surface to another table surface that is distinctly separated from the first. The distance between the table surfaces may be increased to increase the difficulty of the game. This may occur in between games, or progressively during a game. The table surfaces, preferably round, may be provided with folding legs and joined together for convenient transportation and storage. The height of individual legs are adjustable by both fine and coarse adjustment means.

  • Publication number: 20060001264
Abstract: Absorbent plugs and caps plug or cap fittings that have been used to inject liquids into various systems. The plugs are sized to fit within the interior body cavity of fittings to absorb the residual liquid that is left in the cavity after use. The caps are sized to fit over the exterior of the fittings to absorb any residual liquid that leaks out from fitting exterior surfaces. The caps can also have interior plug extensions that extend into the interior cavities to also absorb the residual liquid from the interior. The plugs have non absorptive tabs for insertion and removal and the caps have non absorptive exterior skins or coverings to contain the absorbed liquid within the cap. One such use is to plug and/or cap fittings such as R134a service couplers which are used to inject dye into automotive air conditioning systems.

  • Publication number: 20050115610
Abstract: A service device connects to a service port of a pressurized system. The device includes a valve opening member for opening a valve within the port. The device can attach to a service unit for servicing the pressurized system. The system can be an air conditioning or refrigeration system.

  • Publication number: 20050098213
Abstract: A method and apparatus for servicing a pressurized system is described. A purge fitting can be used to vent the pressurized system. Venting can release a gas, such as air, from the system. The pressurized system can be a climate control system (e.g., an air conditioning or refrigeration system), a brake system, a hydraulic system, or a service device for servicing a climate control system. The purge fitting allows air that may be trapped in the pressurized system to be vented by depressing a purge actuator, such as a purge button attached to the fitting. The air can be vented from an opening adjacent to the actuator or other orifice. By purging air directly from the system, the amount of air introduced into the system during servicing can be minimized. The invention also features a coupling member that can be compact in size.
