  • Publication number: 20240066029
Abstract: Provided herein are compounds of the Formula I: and stereoisomers and pharmaceutically acceptable salts or solvates thereof, in which A, B, X1, X2, X3, X4, Ring D, and E have the meanings given in the specification, which are inhibitors of RET kinase and are useful in the treatment and prevention of diseases which can be treated with a RET kinase inhibitor, including RET-associated diseases and disorders.

  • Publication number: 20220340456
Abstract: A chlorinating system includes an electrode assembly comprising a plurality electrode blades, a cap electrically and mechanically coupled to the electrode assembly, and a housing for enveloping the electrode assembly in an interior compartment of the housing. The housing exposes the electrode assembly to an inlet and outlet of the housing. The cap is removable from the housing and allows for the individual replacement of single electrode blades forming the electrode blade assembly.

  • Patent number: 5931990
Abstract: A tank for removing unabsorbed gas from a mixture of unabsorbed gas and liquid. The tank has an inlet pipe that carries an unabsorbed gas and liquid mixture into the tank. A deflector is located at the exit of the inlet pipe so that when the unabsorbed gas and liquid mixture strikes the deflector there is a rapid reduction of flow velocity of the mixture and a directional change of flow of the mixture. A separation chamber, in the form of a cylinder, extends at one end into a gas pocket and at the other end into the mixture at the bottom of the tank past the deflector so that once the mixture hits the deflector the less dense unabsorbed gas is directed generally upwards. When it reaches the top of the separation chamber the unabsorbed gas passes into the gas pocket. A liquid retention chamber is defined by the wall of a second cylinder and an outlet pipe.

  • Patent number: 4876016
Abstract: A method and related apparatus are disclosed herein for controlling the quantity of oil as a contaminant being discharged with water from a hydrocyclone. The hydrocyclone comprises a conical body with an upper liquid mixture inlet, a drive fluid inlet, an overflow outlet for the separated oil and drive fluid, and an underflow outlet for the separated water. The method includes monitoring the quantity of separated oil with the discharged water and varying the quantity of the drive fluid introduced into the interior of the hydrocyclone whereby the quantity of the oil as a contaminant is minimized.

  • Patent number: 4857197
Abstract: A liquid separator is disclosed for separating a liquid mixture into first and second liquids of different densities. The liquid separator includes a substantially conical chamber having a closed upper portion with a liquid mixture inlet therein. A first liquid collecting mechanism is provided in a lower portion of the conical chamber for collecting and removing a first separated liquid, and a second liquid collecting device surrounds the opening in the lower portion of the conical chamber for collecting and removing a second separated liquid. A return conduit mechanism is provided for returning a portion of the second separated liquid tangentially into an upper portion of the conical chamber to act as a drive fluid to cause the centrally introduced liquid mixture to rotate for effective and efficient separation.

  • Patent number: 4619771
Abstract: A technique for continuous gravity separation of a produced oil and water emulsion has particular utility in separating water for reinjection during a waterflood secondary recovery operation without loss of saleable oil. The method employs a flow direction means to introduce the produced oil-water emulsion into a large volume settling tank substantially tangential to the tank wall and then withdraws the separated oil and water. The apparatus of the instant invention comprises: (a) a tank, (b) an oil-water inlet means, (c) a flow direction means connected to the oil-water inlet means to direct the oil-water emulsion into the settling tank tangential to the tank wall, (d) a bottom-center located water outlet pipe, and (e) an oil outlet pipe.
