Abstract: Sorbent material sheets are attached to an inner surface of an article having an enclosed volume, such as a cadaver pouch, an ammunition storage container, or a film or video tape storage box. The sorbent material sheets adsorb vapors which are released by the contents of the enclosed volumes, while providing flexibility and without releasing particles which could contaminate the contents of the enclosed volume.

Abstract: Sorbent for filtering a coolant in immersion cooling systems, such as those used to cool electronic components. Sorbent may comprise activated carbon sorbent materials that have a bulk oxygen content of about 1 wt. % to about 5 wt. %, a moisture level of at most about 1.5 wt. %, and a molasses number of at least about 150. Sorbents may be contained within an enclosure to convey coolant therethrough to remove conductive contaminants from the coolant.

Abstract: A process is provided for the restoration of hydrogen sulfide removal capacity in nitrogen-treated carbonaceous chars which have become exhausted for hydrogen sulfide capacity when used for the removal of hydrogen sulfide from gas streams containing oxygen and water. This process entails washing the spent carbonaceous char with water of sufficient quantity to remove the majority of the hydrogen sulfide reaction products. By the use of this process a significant proportion of the original hydrogen sulfide capacity of the nitrogen-treated carbonaceous char is recovered.
