  • Patent number: 11920409
Abstract: A cutting element includes a substrate and a cutting table secure to the substrate. The cutting table includes a first surface, a cutting surface, a first transition surface, and a second transition surface. The cutting surface at least substantially surrounds an outer boundary of the first surface and is angled relative to a longitudinal centerline of the cutting table. The first and second transition surfaces are between the cutting surface and an outer lateral edge of the cutting table. The first and second transition surfaces are oriented at a first angle and a second different angle, respectively, relative to the longitudinal centerline of the cutting table. An earth-boring tool and method of forming an earth-boring tool are also described.

  • Patent number: 10280947
Abstract: A gas valve assembly with integrated pressure regulator is provided. The gas valve assembly includes a pressure regulator and a gas valve module. The pressure regulator and gas valve modules each include cast housing bodies. The cast housing bodies have cast in mounting holes and assembly features that allow for the assembly of the gas valve assembly without secondary machining operations.

  • Patent number: 10242532
Abstract: A system for playing blackjack requires a player or electronic system to: (i) receive a first bet from a player; (ii) deal an initial two-card hand to the player; (iii) deal one or more additional cards to the player; (iv) determine whether a sum total value of the initial two-card hand and the one or more additional cards exceeds twenty-one; (v) if so, offer the player an opportunity to place an additional bet; (vi) receive, from the player, the additional bet; (vii) in response receiving the additional bet, deal a final card to the player (optionally from a shoe that is different from that used for the initial hand); (vii) subtract a value of the final card from the sum total value to yield a new value; and (ix) based on the new value, determine whether the player has a winning hand, a push, or a losing hand.

  • Publication number: 20150126088
Abstract: A roofing underlayment comprising a carrier substrate included a felt mixture and a binder mixture, and a volume of asphalt flux saturating the carrier substrate. The felt mixture may comprise between about seventy-five percent and about ninety-five percent by weight corrugated paper/cardboard fibers and between about five percent and about twenty-five percent by weight fiberglass fibers. The volume of asphalt flux may comprise between about twenty-five and fifty percent of a total weight of the roofing shingle underlayment and may saturate the carrier substrate at a saturation percentage between about thirty and about one hundred percent. The binder mixture may include a mixture of alum and rosin having a mixture ratio by weight of alum to rosin in a range between one to one (1:1) and four to one (4:1).

  • Publication number: 20100109245
Abstract: The present invention is a variation of playing Black jack. The primary difference relative to traditional Black jack is, if a player busts, he can buy back into the game and receive one card only (just like a double-down) with that card value being subtracted from the player's total. If the new value is 22 or more, the player loses both bets. If the new value is 21 or less, the player waits for the dealer to finish all other hands and regular blackjack rules apply. A win for the player wins the second bet and pushes the original bet. A loss for the player loses both bets. Preferably, bets are paid 1:1 to winning players and player's 21 are paid immediately at the accordance of obtaining 21.

  • Patent number: 7506659
Abstract: A system operating in an environment under a vacuum draw in which liquid accumulates utilizes the weight of the liquid to discharge the liquid from the system. The system includes a first holding tank and a second holding tank interconnected by a liquid passageway and a pressure equalization passageway. A number of valves are provided for controlling flow into and out of the second holding tank. The valves are operated in a sequence to use gravity to bring accumulating liquid from the first holding tank to the second holding tank in the vacuum environment, and then to discharge the liquid from the second holding tank to the environment outside of the system.
