  • Patent number: 8607773
Abstract: The pneumatically driven projectile weapon combines the tensioned line of a conventional crossbow or archery bow with mechanical and pneumatic compression, thus increasing the power and accuracy of the weapon. A spring-biased cylinder is mounted within a hollow weapon stock, similar to a conventional rifle or shotgun stock, and is interconnected via an internal pulley system to the tensioned line. Firing tension in the line to launch a projectile, such as an arrow or the like, is created by compression of the spring-biased pneumatic cylinder.

  • Patent number: 6024021
Abstract: The invention is a fragmenting bullet comprising a copper jacket surrounding a core made from compressed, irregularly shaped lead rods. The bullet's nose has a truncated cone shape with a flat nose, wherein the jacket is open at the nose and extends slightly past the core. The bullet not only has the typical ability of fragmenting bullets to transfer energy to its target quickly and avoid overpenetrating the target, but is also able to penetrate soft body armor while retaining its other advantages.

  • Patent number: 4664404
Abstract: A weight support assembly for mounting to the rear frame portion of a tractor comprising a first side and second sidewall, and a bottom support plate fixably mounted along the longitudinal sides thereof to the lower portion of respective sidewalls and extending generally horizontally. The frame's rearwardmost portion pivotally supporting the first and second sidewalls in transversely spaced apart relationship such that the first and second sidewalls extend generally vertical, the bottom support plate being located generally below the frame and extending generally inwardly forward of the frame. A first support arm and second support arm are pivotally mounted to the frame at a point therealong at one end and pivotally mounted at the other end to a respective one of the first and second sidewalls. A plurality of weights horizontally extending and vertically stacked on the bottom support plate. A plurality of bolts journalled vertically through the bottom support plate and weights.
