    Abstract: A plug-in device for controlling and exterminating pests includes an electrically powered heat source, a source of a volatile material adjacent to the heat source, the volatile material including at least a pesticide, and a source of carbon dioxide, wherein emitted heat and carbon dioxide attract the pests and wherein the volatile material is vaporized by the heat, thereby exterminating the attracted pests.
