  • Patent number: 11950638
Abstract: There is provided an electronically controlled, breath actuated vaporization device for generating vaporized material for inhalation by a user. The vaporization device includes a vaporization chamber for accommodating material to be vaporized and a mesh heater or other heater supported upstream of the vaporization chamber which is operable to heat air that passes through the mesh heater or other heater during an inhalation event. A closed loop control scheme may be employed to control heat generated by the heater to maintain a temperature of the air delivered to the vaporization chamber at or within a predetermined tolerance of a desired vaporization temperature for at least a majority of a duration of the inhalation event.

  • Publication number: 20230031214
Abstract: Disclosed is an antenna device, antenna system, and methods to create, and install or modify, an antenna profile for an antenna device so as to direct remotely the propagation of radio frequency signal from the antenna device to targeted radio frequency geographic coverage areas. Ports may be selected to activate spatial segments created by the configuration of the reflectors, joined about a cylindrical core, which may be quadrants when the reflectors are configured into a cross-like shape. The system provides aid in orienting an antenna, upon installation, to a pre-designated geographic heading. Optionally, the tilt of each quadrant of an antenna device may be determined so as to ensure proper radio frequency coverage.

  • Patent number: 11183081
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure present systems, devices, methods, and computer readable medium for contextual driver evaluation. The disclosed techniques allow for collecting trip data from various sensors integrated in a mobile device for a user. The techniques include segregating the trip motion data into one or more segments associated with one or more populations with distinct features and characteristics. The trip data can be processed to identify event and behavior features that can be used to evaluate a driver's abilities in a contextually appropriate way. The information for a plurality of drivers can be compared to score the driver's ability amount a plurality of drivers.

  • Patent number: 10500546
Abstract: It can be difficult to remove atomically thin films, such as graphene, graphene-based material and other two-dimensional materials, from a growth substrate and then to transfer the thin films to a secondary substrate. Tearing and conformality issues can arise during the removal and transfer processes. Processes for forming a composite structure by manipulating a two-dimensional material, such as graphene or graphene-base material, can include: providing a two-dimensional material adhered to a growth substrate; depositing a supporting layer on the two-dimensional material while the two-dimensional material is adhered to the growth substrate; and releasing the two-dimensional material from the growth substrate, the two-dimensional material remaining in contact with the supporting layer following release of the two-dimensional material from the growth substrate.

  • Patent number: 10359380
Abstract: The invention relates to methods and systems for measuring the melting point of a material. The method and systems of the invention may reduce the time required to determine the melting point of one or more samples. Furthermore, the methods and systems of the invention result in an accurate and precise measurement of the melting temperature. Thus, the method and system of the invention are preferred over current methods for measuring the melting point.
