Abstract: Systems for converting personal communications devices (e.g., smart phones) into devices for directly or wirelessly delivering either the native RF communications EMF signal or shaped and calibrated electromagnetic signals to promote cell and tissue growth, repair, and maintenance in plants, animals and humans which can modulate biochemical signaling pathways. In particular, described herein are systems, devices and methods for converting mobile communications devices (including PDAs, cell phones, mobile phones, etc.) to provide therapeutically-relevant EMF therapy (e.g., PEMF therapy), as well as methods of treating a patient using personal communications devices (PCDs) running an application for the delivery and monitoring of EMF therapy to a patient from the PCD.
