  • Publication number: 20240143806
Abstract: Methods and systems for managing and/or processing a blockchain to maintain data security for confidential and/or personal data are provided. According to certain aspects, the disclosed data security techniques may enable access sharing functionality utilizing the blockchain. For example, access sharing may be utilized to file documents, share policy information, and/or comply with an audit. The data security techniques disclosed herein also enable the use of smart contracts to transfer funds associated with payment obligations and/or other forms of blockchain based payments, comply with anti-money laundering requirements, report industry data, validate interest payments and/or maintain agent sales data. Data security may be achieved through the use of public key/private key encryption techniques.

  • Patent number: 11954214
Abstract: Methods and systems for managing and/or processing a blockchain to maintain data security for confidential and/or personal data are provided. According to certain aspects, the disclosed data security techniques may enable access sharing functionality utilizing the blockchain. For example, access sharing may be utilized to share policy information. The policy information may be associated with a smart contract. Accordingly, the policy information may be encrypted using a public key for the smart contract and compiled into a block of the blockchain. In response to a request to provide access to the information to a particular node, the private key for the smart contract may be encrypted using the public key for the particular node and compiled into a block of the blockchain.

  • Publication number: 20240111881
Abstract: Methods and systems for processing a blockchain comprising a plurality of immutable sales records corresponding to sales made by agents of an entity are provided. According to certain aspects, a transaction request indicating a sale made by an agent of the entity may be received at a first node. A block including a sales record indicating the sale made by the agent may be added to a blockchain and transmitted to another node for validation. The first node may add the block to a copy of the blockchain, where the block may be identified by a hash value that references a previous block in the blockchain that includes at least one additional sales record.

  • Patent number: 5233123
Abstract: A musical instrument such as a guitar including a structure such as a guitar body and a vibratory element such as one or more guitar strings mounted to the structure is provided with a pickup for detecting vibrating motion of the vibratory element and providing a pickup signal representing such vibration and having a predetermined phase relationship thereto. A driver is provided for applying a drive force to the vibratory element or string so that the drive force has a predetermined phase element relationship to a drive signal. A feedback circuit accepts the pickup signal and provides a drive signal to the driver in such fashion that the drive force supplied by the driver is substantially in phase with the vibration. Thus, the feedback circuit may be arranged to accept the pickup signal and convert the pickup signal to the drive signal so that, for at least some frequencies of the pickup signal, the drive signal differs in phase from the pickup signal.

  • Patent number: 5200569
Abstract: A pickup system for providing sounds for a musical instrument has a feedback circuit for converting a pickup signal representing a vibration of a string or other vibratory element to a drive signal. The pickup system includes a pickup coil, an electromagnetic source which generates a magnetic flux, a device such as a ferromagnetic element for magnetically linking the electromagnetic source and the pick up coil with the vibratory element, a step-up transformer having a primary coil section and secondary coil section, a connection between the pickup coil and the primary coil section of the step-up transformer, an output terminal and circuit elements for connecting the output terminal to the secondary coil section of the step-up transformer.

  • Patent number: 5123324
Abstract: A sustainer for providing sustained sounds from a musical instrument has a feedback circuit for converting a pickup signal representing a vibration of a string or other vibratory element to a drive signal and applying drive forces to the vibratory element responsive to the drive signal. The sustainer is arranged to compensate for the phase lag of the pickup signal relative to motion of the vibratory element and to compensate for the phase lag of the drive forces provided by the driver relative to the drive signal. The feedback circuit may be arranged to provide a phase difference between the drive signal and the pickup signal such that the phase difference varies with frequency towards a drive signal leading phase difference with increasing frequency. This phase compensation provides enhanced response of the strings in the fundamental mode of vibration. The driver preferably is arranged so that the drive forces applied to the strings do not vary with lateral movement of the strings.
