Abstract: An air impingement tunnel oven including a baking case having a plurality of walls, the case's interior having high and low pressure zones; a food conveyor spanning between food passage ports; a plenum and air impingement registers combination having pluralities of finger ducts overlying and underlying the food conveyor, each finger duct being attached to and extending from the plenum, and the plenum dividing the baking case's high and low pressure zones; a gas burner supported upon one of the baking case's walls and including a shell and a gas tube within the shell, the shell defining an annulus which opens the baking case's low pressure zone; and an optical flame sensor operatively mounted for detecting burner flame light passing outwardly through the annulus.

Abstract: A system for braking a wheeled vehicle when it is attempted to be moved outside of a defined perimeter wherein at least one wheel of the vehicle is mechanically coupled to a shaft carrying means to create upon rotation of the shaft, through electromagnetic action an electric current at a pair of terminals; circuit means, responsive to a predetermined signal, to short said terminals, thereby creating a counter electromagnetic force to inhibit rotation of said shaft and wheel coupled thereto to brake the latter; means to generate said predetermined signal; and means to radiate said signal locally along said perimeter.

Abstract: A cat litter box system including a tray which may have inwardly canted edges and a waterproof bottom. Inserted in the tray is at least one orificed filter sheet, and prefereably several, having some type of corner or edge lifting means. Also desirably provided is a filter protector comprising a mat having upward extending protrusions disposed in register with the filter sheet orifices to pass through the latter and protect the filter sheets from damage by the clawing of the cat through litter material which is deposited in the tray over the filter sheets and the filter protector, where the latter is also used. Deodorizing strips, capsules and/or filter protector tips may also be provided.
