  • Publication number: 20250080448
Abstract: Some disclosed examples involve writing a test pattern of bits to one or more fields of at least one test packet and injecting the at least one test packet into a packet processing system of a network device. Some disclosed examples involve causing the at least one test packet to loop multiple times through ingress and egress portions of the packet processing system, trapping the at least one test packet and determining whether the test pattern of the at least one test packet has been altered.

  • Patent number: 12243528
Abstract: Prevention of voice misappropriation in voice interaction/response systems. The system relies on telemetry data, including thermal data of components to determine whether a received voice command was made by actual voice. If the voice command is determined to have been made by an actual voice, a response to the command is generated and transmitted, otherwise if the voice command is determined to have likely not been made by an actual voice (e.g., artificial means replicating a voice, such as a laser or the like), no response to the command is transmitted or action taken with respect to the command.

  • Publication number: 20250059674
Abstract: A method is provided for reducing the electrical activity of defects in a silicon carbide epitaxial layer grown on a silicon wafer, the method comprising reducing oxidation of silicon during growth of the silicon carbide epitaxial layer. We also describe a semiconductor structure comprising: a silicon wafer; and a silicon carbide epitaxial layer grown on the silicon wafer; wherein the silicon carbide epitaxial layer is doped with a precursor, the precursor being configured to reduce oxidation of silicon during growth of the silicon carbide epitaxial layer. Reducing the oxidation of silicon may advantageously reduce or prevent the preferential uptake of nitrogen at defects by reducing the formation of the intermediate species (i.e. silicon dioxide) in the reaction.

  • Publication number: 20250061522
Abstract: Methods and systems are described for generating a vehicle-to-vehicle traffic alert and updating a vehicle-usage profile. Various aspects include detecting, via one or more processors associated with a first vehicle, that an abnormal traffic condition exists in an operating environment of the first vehicle. An electronic message is generated and transmitted wirelessly, via a vehicle-mounted transceiver associated with the first vehicle, to alert a nearby vehicle of the abnormal traffic condition and to allow the nearby vehicle to avoid the abnormal traffic condition. The first vehicle receives telematics data regarding operation of the nearby vehicle after the nearby vehicle received the electronic message, and transmits the telematics data to a remote server for updating a vehicle-usage profile associated with the nearby vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20250060830
Abstract: A mobile storage system includes a series of storage units movable relative to each other to create an aisle or aisles between adjacent storage units. The mobile storage system includes a gesture sensor on each storage unit that is able to detect movement of a hand of a user near the gesture sensor. The gesture sensor communicates the detected movement of the user's hand to a control unit of the mobile storage system such that the control unit can coordinate the movement of the storage units. The gesture sensor includes a light emitter and a light detector that operate to detect the movement of the user's hand. Based on the direction of movement detected, the control unit can move the storage units or activate a light or other device. A method of operating the mobile storage system based on the sensed movement detected by the gesture sensor is also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20250002179
Abstract: The AAMD was designed to address the concerns of deep space travel, in both the distance and time required. Today's rocket propulsion systems rely on expelling large amounts of fuel for short intervals and then coasting long intervals. This method is both expensive and time consuming where deep space is concerned. The AAMD is an alternative to rocket systems and it enables a vehicle to have a constant acceleration rates and deceleration rates. For instance, if the AAMD could provide a constant 1 G of acceleration and 1 G of deceleration, it would take less than a week to go from earth to mars, depending on their locations, whereas today's fastest rockets are 7 to 9 months, for the same trip. Slow and long travel times also are not good for the human body as the bones and muscle begin to deteriorate. The AAMD with its constant G applied to the occupants, will enjoy an artificial gravity produced by means of the constant acceleration. This would allow the occupants to have no breakdown in bones and muscle.

  • Patent number: 12175455
Abstract: One embodiment of the present disclosure provides a system and associated processes for sharing cardholder data (CHD) between a merchant that utilizes tokenization and a second merchant that may or may not utilize tokenization. In one embodiment, the merchant, or an employee of the merchant, can use the system and associated processes to reacquire CHD from a tokenization provider system. In one embodiment, the merchant identifies to the tokenization provider system a desire to share CHD, which is associated with a token, with a second merchant. The merchant and/or the tokenization provider system can then invite the second merchant to register with the tokenization provider system. Once registered with the tokenization provider system, the second merchant can access any CHD that the merchant associated with the second merchant.

  • Publication number: 20240401575
Abstract: This invention harvests some inertia from moving spheres to transfer thrust to the device. The invention has a track generally in the shape of a racetrack, that uses balls which are accelerated along the extended section of the racetrack toward the rear direction of the general forward motion produced by the device. The balls initial acceleration on the track produces a recoil adding to the forward motion of the device. This recoil is then counteracted via the ball traversing around the back of the U shaped race track, bleeding off some inertia. The balls continue around the rear track to the forward leg of the straight section where the excess inertia is bled off by friction means to add to the forward motion of the track. The balls, depleted of most of their inertia, continue around the front section and on to the acceleration means located on the rear facing leg and repeat the cycle.

  • Publication number: 20240348643
Abstract: Systems, methods, and software described herein manage server connection resets based on domain name server (DNS) information. In one implementation, a firewall may receive a reverse DNS request from a computing system and communicate a request to a DNS security service to determine whether a destination associated with the reverse DNS request is malicious. The firewall further receives a response from the DNS security service that indicates that the destination is malicious and, when the response indicates that the destination is malicious, communicates a reset command to the destination to reset a connection between the destination and the computing system.

  • Patent number: 12099997
Abstract: A method of transacting a liability, comprising: defining smart contract which separates a set of rights as a first fungible token type and set of responsibilities as a second fungible token type, the second token type comprising a representation of a liability; in a first transaction, establishing a first transaction consideration which offsets a difference in a value of the set of rights and the set of responsibilities, and allocating a first fungible token with a requirement to pay the consideration to a first party, and allocating the second fungible token with a right to receive the consideration to a second party; and in a second transaction, merging possession of a token of the first fungible token type and a token of the second fungible token type, and extinguish the smart contract set of rights and the set of responsibilities to thereby satisfy the liability.
