  • Publication number: 20230268856
Abstract: The invention was conceived to facilitate in the advancement in internal combustion engine driven generators. Generators today consist of either an inverter generator design or a synchronous alternator design. Both designs have their advantages and disadvantages. The inverter generator offers very precise AC power output, lower noise level, and lower fuel consumption rates but can’t handle heavy inductive loads well. The synchronous alternator offers slightly less precise AC power output, greater noise level, higher fuel consumption rates but can power heavy inductive loads very well. The invention incorporates both, known inverter generator design and known synchronous alternator design, connected to an internal combustion engine, to form a hybrid generator design.

  • Publication number: 20080185198
Abstract: This Next Generation Heavy Hybrid Propulsion System III was specifically designed to use mainly all off the components. This facilitates in the rapid deployment to market with minimum increased purchasing price to the truck over conventional propulsion systems. By designing a cost effective no frills hybrid system, allows more trucks to be equipped with this technology and reap the rewards of higher fuel economy. There is minimum research and development funds needed to place this technology on line. This technology can be used in small cars to large vehicles with similar results, increased fuel economy.

  • Publication number: 20080150294
Abstract: Today modern large commercial wind turbines enable large quantities of electrical power diverted from the wind. The short comings are that they need a pitch control mechanism to turn the turbine blades to capture to wind at different angles on the surface area of the blades. This is feature is mostly due to the inadequacies of the conventional generator technology. The Centrifugally Active Variable Flux Generator features moveable permanent magnets that enable variable magnetic flux control that can automatically control the amount of magnetic flux to the stators by the annular velocity of the rotors, therefore control the amount of output electrical power in different wind speeds without the need for a pitch control system on the blades. Modern wind turbines have pitch control system needed to keep the wind turbine operating in the proper rotor speed for efficiency. The present invention enables a wind turbine to be fitted with a fixed turbine blade without the need of a pitch control system.

  • Publication number: 20020121822
Abstract: A mechanical storage battery which includes, a battery housing (16) with all its internals, there is a central computer (14) that monitors and controls the Stabilizing Battery, there is also a throttle positioning sensor that activates and de-actives the motor/generator which is connected to the internal combustion engine (ICE) when add ional power output is required to assist the hybrid motor vehicle. Built into the central computer (14) housing there is a gyroscope (13) with its sensors are directly connected to the central computer (14). The central computer (14) monitors the sideways angle and the acceleration of the sideways angle of the of the motor vehicle. When the motor vehicle passes the acceptable level of lean and a roll over is about to happen, then the central computer (14) strategically informs the stators (12) which are placed 45 degrees off center of the movable rotors, how to function. Some of the stators (12) function like a generator and some of the stators function like a motor.
