  • Patent number: 11998342
Abstract: Some embodiments include processing data via an executable file on a monitor to reduce the dimensionality of the data being transmitted over the wireless network. The output of the executable file also encrypts the data before being transmitted wireless to a remote server. The remote server receives the transmitted data and makes likelihood inferences based on the recorded data.

  • Patent number: 11925469
Abstract: The present invention relates to a non-invasive cardiac monitoring device that records cardiac data to infer physiological characteristics of a human, such as cardiac arrhythmia. Some embodiments of the invention allow for long-term monitoring of physiological signals. Further embodiments allow for processing of the detected cardiac rhythm signals partially on the wearable cardiac monitor device, and partially on a remote computing system. Some embodiments include a wearable cardiac monitor device for long-term adhesion to a mammal for prolonged detection of cardiac rhythm signals.

  • Patent number: 11607745
Abstract: A swing arm assembly includes a tip dresser, a flange, and a swing arm. The flange is coupled with the tip dresser. The swing arm includes a mounting base and an arm assembly. The arm assembly includes an arm, an extendible arm mount, and a head. The arm is coupled with the mounting base. The extendible arm mount is disposed within the arm and is slidable with respect to the arm along a first axis between a retracted position and an extended position. The head is mounted to the extendible arm mount and includes a support plate and an actuator. The actuator is coupled with the support plate. The tip dresser is coupled with the support plate. The actuator is operably coupled with the flange to facilitate selective sliding of the tip dresser with respect to the support plate.

  • Patent number: 10911922
Abstract: A host device, such as a laptop or desktop computer, that supports wireless point-to-point connections with peripheral devices, such as a pair of headphones, mouse, etc., is configured with quick pair with which the host device can automatically surface a toast on the UI for the user to pair the host and peripheral devices when the peripheral device is within range. For example, a pattern within an advertisement payload can be transmitted, or beaconed, by the peripheral device to the host device, where the host device then identifies, based on the pattern, that the peripheral device is quick pair enabled. When the peripheral device is within range, the host device then automatically surfaces a toast for the user to pair the two devices, and moves the toast to a notification center in case the user wishes to pair the device at a later time.

  • Patent number: 10609537
Abstract: A host device, such as a laptop or desktop computer, that supports wireless point-to-point connections with a peripheral device, such as a pair of headphones, mouse, etc., is configured with a proximity platform with which services register to execute particular filters or scenarios upon the host device connecting or attempting to connect with a peripheral device. For example, an advertisement packet transmitted from the peripheral device using Bluetooth may be customized with a particular pattern that corresponds to one or more registered patterns from the registered services, thereby causing the proximity platform to perform particular functions. Peripheral devices can thereby customize their products so that a host computer automatically performs a function upon receiving an advertisement from the peripheral device, such as surface a notification on a user interface of the host device or track the peripheral device's location.

  • Patent number: 10054949
Abstract: A robotic surface treatment apparatus treats corners of rooms more effectively through intricate guidance of the apparatus through inside and outside corners. In one aspect, contact and/or non-contact sensors provide information to one or more on-board processors on the apparatus to enable selective overriding of obstacle avoidance program code and allow the apparatus to get closer to walls to facilitate treatment. In another aspect, the sensors provide information to the on-board processors to control backup motion of the apparatus to cover previously-missed areas when turning corners. In yet another aspect, the apparatus is shaped to have its treatment mechanism positioned more closely to the front of the apparatus to enable treatment more closely to walls near corners. In one embodiment, the robotic surface treatment apparatus is a robotic vacuum. The vacuum may have its cleaning brush positioned near a flat front portion of the apparatus.

  • Publication number: 20170371341
Abstract: A robotic cleaning device and method of control thereof. The device and method enable multiple cleaning passes within an environment efficiently, cleaning the entire environment more than once, or cleaning the entire environment and then focusing on one or more particularly dirty areas to provide enhanced cleaning by making one or more passes over a dirty area in a dominant and a non-dominant direction. The robotic cleaning device may identify such areas in the course of its cleaning, or it may record such areas previously as being historically dirty and requiring additional attention. The device may vacuum; it may shampoo; it may polish; or it may perform other cleaning operations. Where the device is battery-powered, the device may check its state of charge before performing the enhanced cleaning, and may repeat the enhanced cleaning if the battery or batteries have sufficient charge.

  • Patent number: 9682792
Abstract: Disclosure is directed to a preconfigured planar container template (“container template”) that can be assembled into a triangular shipping container (“container”). The container template is a substantially planar panel/flat sheet having a specified number of fold lines at specified positions in the planar panel, and which can be assembled into the container by folding at the fold lines. While not only assembling the container template into the container is very easy, making or manufacturing the container template is also very easy. The making or the manufacturing of the container template can include cutting a planar panel, e.g., made of some preferable material, into a container template of a specified shape and size and making a specified number of fold lines on the container template. The container template can be manufactured without using any securing products, such as glue and staple.
