    Abstract: Methods and compositions for analysis and treatment of repeat expansion disorders are described. Labeled amplicons of a variable repeat region of a gene may be generated, the generating using primers that introduce at least one molecular label to respective nucleic acid molecules of origin of a biological sample. The labeled amplicons may be sequenced to generate sequencing reads having the at least one molecular label incorporated. A sequence repeat length distribution of the variable repeat region in at least a portion of the biological sample may be generated based on the sequencing reads.
