The top can is removed and its contents are added to the second can. This allows the user to control how much of the contents from the top can are added to the bottom can. A single multi-compartment vessel houses two separate ingredients and prevents their mixing.

Abstract: There is provided a method and system for notifying of new email received at a user's mailbox on a mail storage system. A mail processing system, integrated with the mail storage system, is configured to receive new email auto-forwarded from the mail storage system and to define and send a notification email to a mail notification receiver.

Abstract: A communications system may include a plurality of source message servers for storing messages for delivery to a user, a target message server having a target message box associated therewith, and an aggregation server for periodically aggregating the messages from the source message servers to the target message box for retrieval by the user. The target message server may provide a delivery failure message to the aggregation server based upon a failure to deliver a message to the target message box. As such, the aggregation server may increase a period of sending messages to the target message box based upon a delivery failure message therefrom, and thereafter decrease the period of sending messages to the target message box based upon a successful delivery of a message thereto.

Abstract: A system for provisioning an electronic mail (email) account of a user for allowing access to an electronic mailbox from a remote device to retrieve email includes a communications module that receives email address parameters entered by the user and transmits a domain name system (DNS) query to the Internet for returning mail exchange (MX) and address (A) records corresponding to the entered email address parameters of the user. A configuration module processes any returned MX and A records to determine whether the email address parameters entered by the user are valid before attempting to provision the email account of the user.

The servers may be for processing a plurality of different job types having respective different resource usage characteristics associated therewith. Moreover, each server may determine a respective health metric thereof based upon at least one job being processed thereby. Furthermore, each server may also weight the health metric based upon the respective resource usage characteristic of the at least one job. The system may also include a dispatcher for collecting the weighted health metrics from the servers and distributing jobs to the servers based thereon.

Abstract: A wagering system for random drawing lotteries has a central data processor managing acceptance of player entries and payout authorization. Remote agent terminals receive player entry data from players and process authorized payouts. Portable agent data modules having an on-board memory and security provisions are issued to the agents and carry data in both directions between the central data processor and the terminals. Preferably the agent modules are integrated circuit cards or "smartcards". Available player entries are downloaded from the central data processor to the agent data modules, stored on the agent data modules for transport to the agent data terminals, and uploaded under security protection to the agent data terminals when processing a wager. The agent data modules record assignment of the available player entries to players for reporting to the central processor and can obtain payout authorizations or credits.
