  • Patent number: 12289508
Abstract: A detachable camera assembly is securable to a cooking tool by means of magnets on a lower surface. The housing is offset from the cooking tool by the magnets and a shroud extends between a camera opening and the cooking tool with a seal at the end of the shroud. A fan draws air into the housing and expels part of the air through the shroud. A part of the air also flows through openings for allowing light to exit the housing from LEDs mounted within the housing. A controller within the housing captures and transmits images responsive to instructions received using a wireless transceiver.

  • Publication number: 20060053282
Abstract: Security is provided for a data set stored in a data storage canister. The data set has a data size when received for storage within the canister. At least one data security operation is performed on the received data set to generate secure data having a secure data size that may be different than the set data size. The secure data is stored on at least one data storage device within the canister. Any information about the secure data size is kept from the data producer sending the data set for storage.

  • Patent number: 6771638
Abstract: A communication system permitting temporary connections for specific, predictable data transfer performance is presented. The communication system includes a requesting computer system, a responding computer system, and communication paths for establishing connections between the requesting computer system and the responding computer system. The requesting computer system can establish a temporary initial control connection with the responding computer system through a first communication path. A temporary negotiating connection is established with the responding computer system. Data transfer characteristics are negotiated with the responding computer using the temporary negotiating connection. A temporary data connection is established through a set including at least one communication path based on the negotiated data transfer characteristics, the set not including the first communication path.
