  • Publication number: 20120234260
Abstract: An apparatus and method for operably connecting a first person to a second person. The apparatus comprises a wrist strap having first and second ends sized to closely extend around a wrist of a first person and a coupling formed of a first coupling half located at the first end and a second coupling half located at the second end. The first and second coupling ends are lockably engageable with each other. The coupling has a pair of buttons to opposed sides thereof wherein the pair of buttons cooperate to disengage the second coupling half from the first coupling half and a connector extending from the wrist strap member connectable to a second person. The method comprises lockably and closely securing the wrist strap to a wrist of the first person, and securing a connector extending from the first wrist strap to a second user.

  • Patent number: 7743558
Abstract: A double sliding door arrangement cooperating with a double-wide door opening formed in an upright wall. A top header beam extends across and defines the upper extremity of the door opening. A pre-tensioning arrangement mounted on and extending lengthwise of the top header beam causes the header beam to be deflected upwardly into a shallow bowed shape. A support track is fixed to and extends lengthwise of the header beam and horizontally for predetermined distances along and rigidly fixed to the wall adjacent right and left sides of the door opening. Right and left slab doors are supported on and vertically suspended downwardly from said track in sidewardly co-planar relationship, and are movable along said track between closed and open positions. The doors in the closed position vertically load and downwardly deflect the header beam, whereby the initial upwardly bowed shape minimizes outward swinging between opposed inner edges of the doors when in the closed position.

  • Patent number: 7661237
Abstract: A snap-on attachment structure for attaching a side skin to an upright frame of a wall system. The attachment structure includes resilient attachment strips secured to the rear of the skin and extending along upright edges thereof. Each strip cooperates with a projection formed on an upright frame member and extending vertically therealong. The snap-on strip has a pair of cantilevered spring legs which protrude outwardly in angled relationship. The spring legs adjacent outer ends are provided with coil-shaped head parts which protrude inwardly toward one another. The head parts have hollow arcuate configurations and move into gripping engagement with shallow arcuate recesses formed on opposite sides of the projection.
