    Abstract: A system is provided for detecting and mitigating damage from flashback in a combustion system. The combustion system includes an injector and a combustor. The system includes a supply line coupled to the combustor. The supply line defines an end configured to face with the combustor. The end is provided with a fusible component that is configured to melt in the event of a flashback and release an extinguishing agent into the combustor.
