  • Patent number: 11965768
Abstract: A housing assembly for a fluid sensor assembly includes a housing having a first and second sensing volumes. A fluid port attached to the housing has a porous membrane covering first and second fluid apertures. The first sensing volume included a vertically-oriented waveguide and is fluidly coupled to an exterior of the housing through the first fluid aperture, where the first aperture port has an area smaller than an area of a cross section of the waveguide. The second sensing volume is coupled to the exterior of the housing through the second fluid aperture, the second fluid aperture having an area larger than a cross section of the second sensing volume. While the first sensing volume and the second sensing volume are both in fluid communication with an exterior of the housing, the fluid port and porous membrane internally isolate the first sensing volume from the second sensing volume.

  • Patent number: 10005009
Abstract: A service port for a tank that receives a fluid, the service port including a body having a first end and a second end, the body defining a bore that opens at the first end and second end of the body; a strainer attached to the second end of the body, the strainer including a strainer element that has a first end and a second end, and a pair of sides; wherein the strainer element is closed at the first end and open at the second end defining a strainer volume therebetween; the strainer element being permeable to liquid; wherein the second end of the strainer element is attached about the bore and wherein a wall of the strainer element extending from the second end of the strainer element toward the first end of the strainer element is oriented generally parallel to a flow direction of fluid.

  • Patent number: 9879829
Abstract: The combination of a reservoir having an interface defining an aperture, the interface including a wall extending into the reservoir, the reservoir having a recessed groove in an upper surface about the aperture, the recessed groove including a plurality of recesses thereon: a head unit having an exterior shape complementary to the shape of the aperture, the head unit being positioned within the aperture; the head unit having an inwardly extending rim corresponding to the aperture circular wall, the head unit including a lug, the head unit lug engaging one of recesses, the head unit having a seal ring about an outer periphery of the head unit inwardly extending rim, the seal ring engaging the aperture wall and the head unit inwardly extending rim.
