  • Patent number: 8690374
Abstract: An ultra-high efficiency underwater light for attracting marine life having radially arranged facets supporting light emitting diodes (LEDs) that project a large perimeter of light underwater. A water cooling system allows the high powered LEDs to operate at sustained peak levels without sacrificing service life. A light bifurcating structure causes a central portion of water to illuminate in a different color than the color of the outer perimeter portion of water. A tire valve stem located on the underwater light is used to remove moisture bearing air and to also pressurize the light with a non-corrosive gas. Antifouling circuitry automatically cycles the underwater light on and off multiple times during periods of non-use. Smart circuitry communicates through a series of blinks and accepts commands from a user through a power cord.

  • Publication number: 20140085662
Abstract: An electronic circuit for use with a consumable imaging unit transforms the electronic circuit from a communicated state to a non communicated state, and also induces an imaging machine to read the electronic circuit's transformed information and then store the information in the imaging machine's memory. Additionally, the information of the circuit is configured to alter an identifier of the circuit. The information of the circuit is also configured to point an imaging machine to communicate with a second element of the circuit after the information determines that a first element of the circuit has been altered from its original state.

  • Publication number: 20130302770
Abstract: A system and method for quality assured analytical testing is disclosed. A user is prompted by the system questions which relate to an analytical test to be conducted or an analytical instrument to be employed. Input received by the system from the user is evaluated to determine to which degree the inputs are correct. The user is certified if the determined degree is above a preset threshold. Next, the user is prompted by the system for a user identification and if the user is a certified user, access is provided to a testing routine of the analytical instrument.

  • Patent number: 8444283
Abstract: An underwater dock light having an internal water cooling system formed from primary, secondary, tertiary, and quaternary mounting surfaces forming a chamber. Each of the mounting surfaces are each in thermal communication with a light emitting unit generating heat. LED circuit boards are mounted at an angle to produce a large diameter of light in the surrounding water. A light bifurcating structure causes a central portion of light to be a different color than the perimeter. The transparent lens has an opening and a latching structure configured to connect the transparent lens to the end of the transparent cover. A tire valve stem is located on the underwater light and is capable of removing or filling the underwater light with a gas. • Publication number: 20130042386
Abstract: A mobility limiting system is provided which maintains the position of an individual or object. This device comprises a pad attached to a support surface and a vest worn by an individual or affixed to an object. The pad front and vest back are comprised of hook and loop material which bind to each other and secure the individual or object in place. The pad is secured to a support surface using straps. The vest closed with hook and loop will hold in a semi-fixed position until a purposeful movement releases the hold. The device uses an adhesive material to attach the individual or object to a stationary object thus limiting the mobility while maintaining it orientation. The device may also use tabs in place of the vest front panels which fold over the shoulders and around the torso to secure the individual or object similar to a vest.
