  • Publication number: 20120256929
Abstract: An expandable multi-core telecommunication and video processing apparatus includes a primary wireless telecommunications device having a microprocessor that can be programed for running a wide range of software application and includes a primary, or main, viewer touch screen interface and a plurality of ports for receiving one or more video core processors. Each video core processor is removably connectable to a port located along a surface of the primary telecommunications device for permitting a plurality of individual videos which can be interfaced by a user. The individual videos displaced by each connected video core processor can act in concert with, or independently of, the main, or primary, touch screen interface which is located on a front surface of the primary telecommunications device. The primary telecommunications device further includes a detachable storage bay for retaining video core processors when not connected with the primary telecommunications device.

  • Patent number: 6489895
Abstract: A fail-safe leak detection and flood prevention apparatus includes an induced current, transconductive darlington amplifier and tuned-frequency standing water detector mounted at a lowest point of a potential leak plane for sensing variations of standing water conditions on the potential leak plane, and an induced current amplifier in communication with the standing water detector. A sensitivity control device for controlling sensitivity of the standing water detector for humidity, or dampness, level and for detecting a standing water leak; the sensitivity control device being in communication with the induced current amplifier. A latching relay driver connected to the sensitivity control device with the latching relay driver being able to memorize a leak condition when electrical power is lost. A control rectifier driven by the latching relay driver, with the control rectifier driving a 120-volt AC line voltage load.

  • Patent number: 4574278
Abstract: A video synthesizer is adapted for connection to the input circuitry of an oscilloscope, and includes sampling and multiplexing circuitry for presentation of a multiplicity of input signals to a single channel of the oscilloscope. The signals are sampled sequentially, and the samples of respective ones of the signals are multiplexed with corresponding reference voltage levels of a voltage divider so as to vertically displace the signals on the face of the oscilloscope. For periodic input signals, the sequential sampling is repeated at a rate which is not harmonically related to the periodicity of the input signals to fully regenerate the signal waveforms on the oscilloscope. A memory is provided for storing intervals of the input signals in the case of nonperiodic signals, the stored signals then being outputted to the sampling and multiplexing circuitry.
