    Abstract: The present invention is directed to a system and method for delivering virtual content associated with physical objects, visual images and events of various kinds. In one embodiment, the invention includes a display having a plurality of objects positioned on the display. The display may include various devices to indicate a selected object positioned on the display, or the selection may be indicated by one or more handheld devices. Selection of one or more objects on the display activates a content delivery device that transfers virtual content associated with the one or more selected objects to a viewing device.
