    Abstract: A method for controlling a humidifier of a CPAP device including a controller, the method including controlling a heating element in the humidifier with command signals from the controller, sensing a temperature of a fluid in the humidifier with a sensor in the humidifier that transmits signals to the controller, establishing an acceptable operating range for the signal transmitted to the controller, determining whether the transmitted signal is within the acceptable operating range, if the signal is within the acceptable operating range treating the signal as being indicative of the temperature of the fluid in the humidifier and using the signal to control the heating element, and if the signal is outside of the acceptable operating range, the controller determines the humidifier to be unavailable.

An inter-roller air passageway may be defined between the leading roller and the brush roll wherein the lower portion of the leading roller is exposed to a flow path to the suction conduit and an upper portion of the leading roller is outside of the flow path. Optionally, a combing unit includes a plurality of combing protrusions extending into the leading roller and having leading edges not aligned with a center of the leading roller. Optionally, a sealing strip is located along a rear side of the opening and along a portion of left and right sides of the opening. The underside may define side edge vacuum passageways extending from the sides of the housing partially between the leading roller and the sealing strip towards the opening.

The lighting module may include an LED module/light guide plate and/or an LED refractor assembly/LED gear tray. A resilient member is supported on the housing in position to abut the lighting module and deflect during insertion of the lighting module through the window, and to at least partially resile to maintain the lighting module against the shoulders in an operative position on the housing. Further, the resilient member is positioned to deflect during removal and to resile to tilt or otherwise assist in ejecting the lighting module from the housing during tool-less disassembly.

The server device can generate a message regarding the equivalent real-time ECU speed of the vehicle and send the message to a remote device for display.
