  • Publication number: 20240082027
Abstract: A distal aortic stent graft assembly including a main body having a proximal end and a distal end. The main body defines a peripheral opening. The proximal end defines a proximal opening. The distal end defines a distal opening. The proximal opening and the distal opening are configured to perfuse blood through the main body when the main body is in a deployed state. The distal aortic stent graft assembly further includes a coupling extending radially from the main body and corresponding to the opening in the main body. The coupling is configured to align with a blood vessel and perfuse blood through the coupling when the coupling is in the deployed state.

  • Publication number: 20240076929
Abstract: A mulling system includes a first joining plate with a first plate member, a second plate member, and a first thermal breaker that extend longitudinally along a mulling axis with the first thermal breaker attaching the first and second plate members. The mulling system includes a second joining plate that includes a third plate member, a fourth plate member, and a second thermal breaker that extend longitudinally along the mulling axis with the second thermal breaker attaching the third and fourth plate members. The second joining plate is configured to attach to the first joining plate to join together first and second fenestration units with the mulling axis extending between the first and second joining plates. The first joining plate substantially matches the second joining plate to define a corresponding rotated and engaged arrangement of the first joining plate and the second joining plate across the mulling axis.

  • Publication number: 20240076930
Abstract: A mulling system for a plurality of fenestration units includes a first joining plate configured to attach to a first outer edge of a first fenestration unit. The first joining plate includes a first outer face. The mulling system also includes a second joining plate configured to attach to a second outer edge of a second fenestration unit. The second joining plate includes a second outer face. The second joining plate is configured to engage the first joining plate to join together the first fenestration unit and the second fenestration unit with the first outer face facing the second outer face. The mulling system additionally includes a deflectable seal member attached to the first joining plate and having a sealing surface that faces away from the first outer face. The sealing surface is configured to deflect and seal against the second outer face of the second joining plate.

  • Publication number: 20230034789
Abstract: A drip cover for a fenestration unit. The fenestration unit includes a frame and a slideable panel supported for sliding movement within the frame. A gap is defined between the slideable panel and the frame. The drip cover includes a mounting member configured to attach to the slideable panel. The drip cover also includes an overhang that projects from the mounting member and that is configured to cover over the gap when the mounting member is attached to the slideable panel. The overhang is supported for resilient flexure relative to the mounting member between a neutral position and a flexed position. The overhang is resiliently biased toward the neutral position. The overhang, when the mounting member is attached to the slideable panel, is configured to contact a surface, thereby resiliently flexing the overhang between the neutral position and the flexed position, as the slideable panel slides relative to the surface.

  • Patent number: 7887271
Abstract: A trans-axial cutting apparatus used for cutting an inner surface of an opening formed within an object and accessible from outside the object. The apparatus comprises an elongate portable frame. The frame supports a cutting member on the first side and a stabilizing member on the second side. The stabilizing member is adapted to secure the apparatus during operation of the cutting member. The apparatus may be used to cut a counter bore, a longitudinal slot or groove at a desired depth, a helical slot or groove at a desired depth, or a slot or groove at a desired depth and along a desired path within the opening. Additionally, the apparatus is adapted to make any of the preceding cuts in a tapered or stepped manner within the opening of the object.

  • Patent number: 7133440
Abstract: A method and system for open-loop acquisition of a pseudo-noise (PN) encoded QPSK burst signal is provided. The method includes the steps of determining a PN correlation accumulation (PNCA) threshold and a sync threshold. Searching for a burst signal synchronization by searching a burst preamble for a sync word exceeding the sync threshold. In response to detecting the sync word, performing a PNCA of at least 256 bits following the detected sync word and comparing the PNCA of the at least 256 bits with the PNCA threshold. The comparison further includes the step of verifying that the PNCA of the 256 bits following the detected sync word exceeds the PNCA threshold and then verifying sync word detection. Next, using the burst preamble an estimate of carrier signal frequency is determined; and using a subsequent burst preamble carrier signal frequency and carrier signal phase is determined.

  • Patent number: 4408619
Abstract: Tobacco feeder (10) consists of a conveyor belt (12), vibrating collecting pan (26), and control flaps (22a-b, 24a-b). Metering tube (16) delivers tobacco to conveyor belt (12), the speed of which varies depending on the number of cigarette making machines in operation. Conveyor belt (12) deposits tobacco on vibrating collecting pan (26) which has an inclined portion (28) to cause the tobacco flow to increase in velocity, thereby decreasing in density, as tobacco moves down the inclined portion (28). Control flaps (22a, 22b, 24a, 24b) direct the flow of tobacco to vacuum tubes (18a, 18b, 18c, 18d) depending on which cigarette makers are in operation.
