Abstract: A safety marker includes an hollow frusto-conical body; a base having an bowl-shaped main portion and a resiliently flexible skirt for yieldably stabilizing the marker against tipping relative to a supportive surface, the body being connected in upstanding relation to an inner portion of the base and concentric therewith, the base being formed to clear the cone defined by the inside surface of the body, the bowl being sufficiently large relative to the body and the base being weighted sufficiently that the marker is self-righting, the skirt being sufficiently flexible to be deflected against the bowl for preserving the self-righting capability of the marker.
