    Abstract: A kit for the repair of a tub or shower includes an inlay comprising a PVC thermoplastic and a one-part adhesive comprising an polyurethane-modified functional compound. A method for repairing a tub or shower use the kit to apply adhesive the inlay to secure it to the tub or shower floor. A preferred adhesive for use with the kit and the method exhibits excellent adhesion to many substrates including porcelain, steel, fiberglass and many plastics. Preferably, the adhesive cures fast, even at low temperatures, contains no solvents or isocyanates and is non-yellowing.

    Abstract: A portable fume exhauster and dryer includes a motor fan mounted in a housing having a supporting structure adapted to rest on a horizontal surface, such as a floor, or on an uneven or slanted, often narrow surface, for example, a window sill. The housing of the exhauster and dryer has flanges at intake and exhaust openings to which grilles and/or conduits can be attached for remote intake or exhaust of fumes and moisture. Circuitry for the device may be provided to prevent electrical shock, power surges and thermal overload, and a switch may be proved for operation by an operator wearing protective clothing, such as heavy gloves.

Preferred methods of application are applying the solution with a mop, by wiping the surface with a rag treated with the solution and by applying a mist of the solution onto the surface.
