  • Publication number: 20170014689
Abstract: A high moment of inertia is enabled in a novel golf putter head in which also infinite adjustment of the lie angle and adjustment of total weight over a very wide range are enabled. The putter can be configured for either right-handed or left-handed players. The putter head has a cylindrical recess partially open through the top of the head and fully open to the rear of the head allowing the insertion of a cylindrical shaft receiver disc. The shaft can be of any allowed length and the lie angle can be from 26 degrees to 10 degrees from vertical. The mass properties of the putter head may be changed and adjusted by addition or removal of weights at the extreme toe and heel ends of the putter head.

  • Publication number: 20160346605
Abstract: A method for fitting a putter club to an individual golfer includes steps of obtaining performance data for the golfer using a plurality of putter configurations with a range of putter weights and mass-moment of inertia. This novel system uses putter head weight variation over a very wide range exceeding the putter head weights generally otherwise available. The system further uses very small increments of weight change over the very wide range to determine the optimal weight for the golfer. A particular putter weight is selected based on the optimal performance data collected for the golfer.

  • Patent number: 9446005
Abstract: Disclosed are nutritional formulations including predigested fats that can be administered to preterm infants, infants, toddlers, and children for improving tolerance, digestion, and absorption of nutrients and for reducing the incidence of necrotizing enterocolitis, colic, and short bowel syndrome. The predigested fats include fatty acid-containing monoglycerides and/or a fatty acid component.

  • Patent number: 9367980
Abstract: A deposit management system is operable responsive to data read from data bearing records. The system is associated with financial funds depositories. Each depository can accept items, such as deposit bags. Each depository includes a bar code reader that can read data from a bar code label that is located on a deposit bag. The system allows merchants to preregister a deposit before performing the deposit. A preregistered deposit is linked with a deposit identifier in a data store. The deposit identifier can be represented in a bar code. If the system determines that a depository read a bar code having a deposit identifier that corresponds in the data store to a preregistered deposit, then that depository is operated to automatically unlock its deposit entry door to permit the deposit. The system also allows merchants to review their deposit history.

  • Patent number: 9286770
Abstract: An automated banking machine operates responsive at least in part to data read from data bearing records. The automated banking machine operates to read card data from user cards and to cause a determination to be made that the read data corresponds to at least one of a user and account that is authorized to operate the machine. The machine operates responsive at least in part to the determination to perform a transaction function and to cause the account to be assessed an amount corresponding to the transaction function. The machine includes a housing including a currency holding area, and operates to generate signals responsive to unauthorized access to the currency holding area.

  • Patent number: 9022284
Abstract: A banking system is controlled responsive to data included on data bearing records. The system includes a deposit accepting machine for accepting deposit items, such as deposit bags, currency, and checks. The deposit accepting machine includes a card reader operable to read financial account data from cards of depositors. The machine includes a RFID reader that wirelessly reads data from RFID tags on deposited items, including account number and deposit amount data. A computer credits the account for the read deposit amount. The machine, which can also dispense cash, further includes an NFC reader that can wirelessly receive cash loading data from an NFC component on a cash handler's cash transport bag. The cash loading data can include an amount of cash loaded into the machine. The machine can wirelessly transmit to the bag, dispense data that includes the amount of cash dispensed since the last cash loading.
