Patent number: 8991639Abstract: A tray held by a stair adaptor for securing the tray either on a stairwell or on a work bench. A first slidable arm and a second slidable arm each have an adaptor leg extending downward therefrom, wherein the first adaptor leg and the second adaptor leg are sized to be accommodated within a pair of parallel clamping members of a workbench. The first slidable arm and the second slidable arm include a mating member upstanding therefrom, the mating member shaped substantially similar to a shape of each of the slots on an underside of a tray body and configured to slidably engage with at least one of the slots, wherein the first slidable arm penetrates the right side of the stair adaptor and the second slidable arm penetrates the left side of the stair adaptor to level and secure the tray body on a stairway or workbench.Type: GrantFiled: December 11, 2013Date of Patent: March 31, 2015Inventor: Steven R. Kells

Patent number: 8657144Abstract: A tray for use during painting includes a stair adaptor for leveling the tray along stairs and maintaining the tray on a workbench. The tray body has at least one utility recess defined therein for situating paint cans, paint stirrers, and paint brushes. A roller tray is further defined within the tray body. A front cut-out is defined along the front which is well-suited to allow the tray to be secured to a workbench by way of workbench swivel pegs. Slots are defined within the underside traveling an entire width of the tray body. A stair adaptor is adapted to engage the slots. As a result, upon placement of the tray body on an upper step of a stairway the stair adaptor levels the tray while the base of the stair adaptor rests on an adjacent lower step.Type: GrantFiled: July 5, 2012Date of Patent: February 25, 2014Inventor: Steven R. Kells

Publication number: 20110200305Abstract: The present invention is concerned with client-side production in a personal computer environment of low bandwidth images and audio. A series of low bandwidth still images along with a “script” and audio data is sent over a network in a client/server architecture or is read from a compact disk or other memory. A “director” module residing in a client personal computer uses the “script” to tell the computer how to execute a sequence of “moves” on the still images. These moves include cuts, dissolves, fades, wipes, focuses, flying planes and digital video effects such as push and pull. Moves within a still image occur in real time, and are relatively smooth and continuous as compared to prior art network video. Low bandwidth is achieved because most of the production is done at the client location without relying upon slow, bandwidth-limited downloading of conventional network video formats.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 26, 2011Publication date: August 18, 2011Inventors: Joseph Paul Montgomery, Michael Richard Young Moore, Stephen A. Hartford, Mark R. Mooneyham, Daniel A. Kaye, Kenneth A. Turcotte, Steven R. Kell, Stephan D. Schaem
