  • Patent number: 11797007
Abstract: A method and arrangement for storing and recalling of setting values of a vehicle (10) and/or implement (14) that can be used for agricultural purposes comprising the following steps: inputting of at least one setting value for an actuator (49) of the vehicle (10) and/or implement (14) by a user interface; transmitting of a command based on the setting value to a control unit (32, 34, 38, 48) standing in operational connection with the actuator (49); and storing of setting data based on the setting value in a memory (72) in order to recall the setting value on the user interface or another user interface as required, wherein the setting value is converted into setting data using meta data regarding technical properties of the vehicle (10) and/or implement (14), the setting data representing a physical measure of the adjustment of the vehicle (10) and/or implement (14) achieved by the actuator (49) based on the setting value, the measure calculated based on the meta data and the setting value, and the setting

  • Publication number: 20220408627
Abstract: A system and a method are disclosed for determining a heading of a vehicle and a heading of an implement of a farming machine when the farming machine is stationary or moving at a speed below a threshold speed. The vehicle and the heading are attached together via a pivot hitch. A farming machine management system receives coordinates from a first location sensor coupled to the vehicle and a second location sensor coupled to the implement. The farming machine management system determines intersection points between a first circle centered at the first location sensor and a second circle centered at the second location sensor. The farming machine management system selects one of the intersection points based on an output of a machine learning model. The farming machine management system determines the headings of the vehicle and the implement and generates instructions for operating the farming machine based on the headings.

  • Patent number: 10150483
Abstract: A method and system for managing settings on a single vehicle/implement system and across a fleet of vehicle/implement systems. Each vehicle/implement system includes a plurality of Embedded Systems having configurable settings, a Precision Agriculture Server having configurable settings, and a Telematics Server having configurable settings. All of the servers are connected by a plurality of vehicle data busses. The Telematics Server is connected to Cloud-Based Servers via the Internet. Vehicle/implement system settings are managed by the Precision Ag Server and shared with other vehicle/implement systems via the Cloud-based Server. Flexibility for different vehicle/implement models and options is provided by a distributed system using Client Software in the Precision Ag Server or Client Software in the Embedded Systems and by a settings identification and versioning schema.

  • Patent number: 9513932
Abstract: A system and method for displaying data associated with an embedded system is provided that may include a vehicle data bus, an electronic control unit, and a display unit. The display unit may be configured to render a graphical user interface for the electronic control unit. Data may be exchanged between the electronic control unit and the display unit via the vehicle data bus in partial compliance with a virtual terminal protocol, where full compliance with the virtual terminal protocol requires that the graphical user interface rendered by the display unit be defined and controlled by the electronic control unit. Contrary to the requirement of full compliance with the virtual terminal protocol, the graphical user interface in the display unit may be defined and controlled by the display unit.
