  • Patent number: 7140744
Abstract: A lamp assembly for use in a pressure sensitive paint measuring system, such as for measuring pressure on a test air vehicle using pressure sensitive paint, is constructed and configured to provide (1) exceptional cooling for the various optical elements and the housing, (2) a combination of filters that minimizes heat load on the interference filter, yet provides a high beam intensity at the desired wavelength, (3) a mounting structure for the lamp assembly that allows the lamp assembly to be accurately aimed and positioned with little translation of the output aperture, and (4) easy access to the internal components, including the bulb-reflector assembly and optical elements.

  • Patent number: 4677620
Abstract: A method for adjusting a time delay of a signal with respect to a reference event is achieved by displaying a graphical representation of the delay time on a display terminal, modifying the displayed graphical depiction to indicate a different time delay, and then adjusting the time delay of the signal to match the modified time delay indicated by the displayed graphical depiction. The display terminal is controlled by a display controller and the graphical depiction of the delay time is modified by an operator using cursor control keys of a keyboard to transmit a first indicating signal to the display controller and other keys of the keyboard to transmit a second indicating signal to the display controller. Each time the controller detects a first indicating signal, the graphically displayed delay time is incremented and each time the controller detects a second indicating signal, the graphically displayed delay time is decremented.

  • Patent number: 4541100
Abstract: An input apparatus for a multi-channel device, such as a logic analyzer, is disclosed, the input apparatus providing the multi-channel device with a programmable set-up and hold feature. The multi-channel device acquires a logic signal from a product under test, the logic signal having associated therewith an actual set-up and hold time with respect to an external clock signal. The actual set-up and hold times are entered into the multi-channel device via a keyboard and a display. The device has stored therein a desired set-up and hold time required by the logic signal relative to the external clock signal. In accordance with the actual and the desired set-up and hold times, the multi-channel device changes the relative orientation of the acquired logic signal with respect to the external clock signal, along the time axis until the set-up and hold times of the acquired logic signal are changed from the actual value to the desired value.
