  • Patent number: 11966769
Abstract: Computing system enhancements make container instantiation faster, reduce layer content storage demands, and make more container image formats available. A container instantiation location sends a container image pull request to a container registry, receives an image manifest, sends a layer mount request to the registry instead of a layer content download request, receives a layer mount, optionally repeats for additional layers, creates a union file system spanning the layers, and launches a container process based on the union file system without first downloading all the layer content.

  • Patent number: 11865570
Abstract: A longitudinally adjustable flow divider situated in the particulate material path of a spinner spreader between the bin and the rotatable disc divides the particulate material so that the particulate material is dischargeable on to the upper surface of the rotatable disc on first and second laterally spaced apart longitudinally oriented drop lines. An actuator operably connected to the flow divider adjusts a longitudinal position of the flow divider to longitudinally adjust drop points on the drop lines at which the particulate material is dischargeable on to the rotatable disc. Longitudinal adjustment of the drop points along laterally spaced apart drop lines on one spinner disc permits control over spread pattern to help achieve uniform distribution of the particulate material on a ground surface.

  • Patent number: 11839350
Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems, devices, and methods for providing continuous, non-invasive blood pressure monitoring. A wearable monitoring device includes first and second transducer arrays separated by a fixed distance. Each of the transducer arrays includes a plurality of independent transducer elements for transmitting and receiving ultrasound energy. When a user wears the device, the transducers are positioned near the brachial artery. The device operates to measure the transit time of a cardiac pulse through the brachial artery and across the fixed distance between transducer arrays. The measured pulse transit time may then be used for determining pulse wave velocity and/or blood pressure.

  • Patent number: 11808738
Abstract: A support jig for use with a testing machine applying loads, the support jig includes a frame and a pair of spaced apart supports joined to the frame to provide an alignment axis. Each support is configured to releasably hold a test specimen holder on the alignment axis in a fixed spatial relationship with ends of the test specimen holders mountable to the test machine facing in opposite directions. A test specimen support is located between the holders holds the test specimen on the alignment axis so that the holders can be attached to the test specimen. The support jig allows the holders to be easily and correctly attached to the test specimen so as to maintain alignment of the holders and the test specimen on the alignment axis. The support jig also maintains the fixed spatial relationship of the holders and test specimen while the holders are mounted to the test machine.

  • Publication number: 20230170790
Abstract: A method of discharging a link capacitor coupled between link nodes of a multiple phase inverter in which each phase comprises a pair of switches coupled in series between the link nodes, including turning off a first switch of a first phase, turning on a second switch of the first phase, and while the second switch of the first phase remains turned on, activating the first switch of the first phase with pulses and monitoring a link voltage across the link nodes until the link capacitor is discharged. Pulse width and duty cycle may be adjusted, or may remain fixed while pulse magnitude is adjusted until a desired discharge rate is reached. The temperature of pulsed phase switches may be monitored in which discharge operation is suspended while temperature is above a threshold. The switches of multiple phases may be pulsed to distribute discharge among multiple phases.

  • Patent number: 11660633
Abstract: A method of controlling spread pattern of a particulate material broadcasted by a spinner spreader involves permitting particulate material to flow through a plurality of sluices situated in a particulate material path between a bin and a rotatable disc of a spinner spreader. Each sluice receives a portion of the particulate material and delivers the portion of particulate material to a radial and/or angular position on the rotatable disc. The radial and/or angular position on the rotatable disc to which the portion of particulate material from at least one of sluices is delivered is adjusted by longitudinally translating the at least one independently moveable sluice independent of all other sluices of the plurality of sluices to change position of the at least one independently moveable sluice relative to the rotating disc thereby changing the spread pattern of the particulate material broadcasted by the rotatable disc.
