  • Patent number: 10033718
Abstract: An apparatus and method for pairing a base and a detachable device. A query module queries a detachable device in response to the detachable device connecting to a base. The detachable device provides a display for the base if the detachable device and base are connected. A determination module determines if the detachable device is paired with the base. A credential module obtains a pairing credential for a pairing in response to the determination module determining that the detachable device is unpaired with the base.

  • Publication number: 20180200497
Abstract: A percutaneous catheter system for use within the human body and an ablation catheter for ablating a selected tissue region within the body of a subject. The percutaneous catheter system can include two catheters that are operatively coupled to one another by magnetic coupling through a tissue structure. The ablation catheter can include electrodes positioned within a central portion. The ablation catheter is positioned such that the central portion of a flexible shaft at least partially surrounds the selected tissue region. Each electrode of the ablation catheter can be activated independently to apply ablative energy to the selected tissue region. The ablation catheter can employ high impedance structures to change the current density at specific points. Methods of puncturing through a tissue structure using the percutaneous catheter system are disclosed. Also disclosed are methods for ablating a selected tissue region using the ablation catheter.

  • Publication number: 20180131138
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a telecommunications connector having cross-talk compensations, and a method of managing alien crosstalk in such a connector. In one example, the telecommunications connector includes electrical conductors arranged in differential pairs and a circuit board with conductive layers that provide a cross-talk compensation arrangement for applying capacitance between the electrical conductors. The circuit board includes conductive paths that provide capacitive coupling and a conductive plate that intensifies capacitive coupling of the electrical conductors. In another example, the telecommunications connector is used with a twisted pair system.

  • Patent number: 9933926
Abstract: A system for efficiently displaying medical data to a user. For one or more of the image series, the system displays a thumbnail image representing the image series in a secondary segment of a display. In response to a selection of one of the displayed thumbnail images the system displays in the secondary segment a positioning grid with multiple sections, each section representing a section of a separate primary segment of the display that does not overlap the secondary segment. In response to a selection of one of the sections in the positioning grid the system updates the display to cause an image in the image series corresponding to the selected thumbnail image to be displayed in the section of the primary segment of the display represented by the selected section of the positioning grid.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a platform for monitoring the availability of facility equipment. The platform may include a facility equipment monitoring tool with access to configuration data for one or more facilities. The platform allows for deployment of a mobile client application across a plurality of mobile devices to facilitate performance of walk-through inspections (i.e., rounds) of equipment within respective facilities, and to provide real-time equipment availability indicators and other status indicators via a user interface of the application. The data collected during walk-through inspections may be logged and uploaded to a central server system and stored in a data repository. The platform may further provide a network-accessible monitoring dashboard for viewing real-time, and historical, data regarding the walk-through inspections performed at various facilities, and an administrative user interface to update configuration data in the data repository of the central server system.
