  • Patent number: 9967148
Abstract: The subject matter described herein includes systems, methods, and computer readable media for selective Diameter topology hiding. The system includes a Diameter agent including a network interface configured to receive, from a first Diameter node in a first service provider network, a first Diameter signaling message including Diameter topology information and a Diameter topology hiding module (THM). In some aspects, the THM is configured to determine a trust relationship between the first service provider network and a second service provider network to which the first Diameter signaling message is addressed, in response to determining that the trust relationship requires at least some level of topology hiding, determine a topology hiding type based on the first Diameter signaling message, and modify, based on the topology hiding type, the Diameter topology information included in the first Diameter signaling message to hide at least some of the Diameter topology information.

  • Patent number: 9648018
Abstract: A system for controlling deep parsing of Diameter messages comprises a Diameter node. The Diameter node includes at least one processor and a Diameter parsing engine for receiving a Diameter message, determining whether the message includes a Diameter deep parse indicator, for determining whether or not to perform deep parsing of the message based on the presence, absence, or value the Diameter deep parse indicator, and performing or refraining from performing deep parsing of the message based on results of the determining.

  • Patent number: 9253163
Abstract: The subject matter described herein includes systems, methods, and computer readable media for encrypting Diameter identification information contained in Diameter signaling messages. The system includes a Diameter agent that comprises a network interface configured to receive, from a first Diameter node, a Diameter signaling message that includes Diameter identification information associated with the first Diameter node and a Diameter encryption topology hiding module (ETHM) configured to encrypt the Diameter identification information to generate encrypted Diameter identification information and to replace the Diameter identification information in the Diameter signaling message with the encrypted Diameter identification information. The Diameter agent further includes a routing module configured to route the Diameter signaling message with the encrypted Diameter identification information to a second Diameter node.

  • Patent number: 7106756
Abstract: A method, system, and computer program product for controlling customer resources for Internet protocol (IP) traffic delivery are disclosed. The network utilization of a group of endpoints on a network is tracked to generate group utilization level information corresponding to a current amount of network resource consumption by the group of endpoints. A request for network resources for a data flow for an endpoint in the group is received from a router associated with that endpoint. The request for network resources includes an identifier associated with the endpoint. A determination is made whether to accept the request based on the group utilization level information, the identifier, and a first predetermined profile associated with the group and including a first network utilization limit.

  • Patent number: 6311063
Abstract: A method of and system for emulation of multiple subscriber profiles on a single telephone in a telecommunications network. An identified group contains more than one subscriber profile. The system is activated when a user selects a subscriber profile to be associated with the telephone being used. In response to the selection, the system determines whether the selected subscriber profile is within the group. If it is, the system associates the selected subscriber profile from the group with the telephone, such that the telephone emulates the selected subscriber profile. If the selected subscriber profile is not within the group, the subscriber profile associated with the telephone is unchanged.
