    Abstract: A multi-purpose protective eye shield having a main lens and at least one auxiliary lens attached to a universal frame which includes two temple bars and a nose support element. The frame may include a connecting bridge extending along the brow of the wearer. The auxiliary lenses are each individually coupled to the universal frame or the main lens. Associated with each auxiliary lens are individual hinges, for rotating the lenses about the hinge axis.
