A method for creating a club head with enhanced balance point placement can also be provided. The method can include, in a golf club formed from a club head coupled to a shaft, moving a balance point from a position between no less than seven inches and no more than eighteen inches measured from the sole along a longitudinal axis of the shaft between a butt of the shaft and a sole of the club head to a position no further away from the sole than five inches measured from the sole along a longitudinal axis of the shaft.
