  • Patent number: 9062524
Abstract: Described herein are a method, apparatus and computer readable medium for correcting data points acquired during well drilling. The data points are typically stored in a text file that is accessible by a processor. The processor applies one or more tags to the data points, with each of the tags corresponding to a characteristic of the data points. The processor then identifies one or more data faults in the data points using the one or more tags. Each data fault is indicative of inaccurate data in the data points; i.e., data that does not accurately represent the well as drilled. Following identification of the one or more data faults, the processor corrects one or more of the data faults. The resulting corrected, or cleaned, data is more indicative of the well as actually drilled than the uncorrected data. The processor can be connected to a computer readable medium that stores the statements and instructions that the processor executes.

  • Patent number: 8937744
Abstract: A system and a method are disclosed for modifying a layout associated with data to reduce the amount of paper used when generating a paper copy of the data. Responsive to receiving an input to modify a layout associated with data presented on a computing device for printing, the layout is modified. In one embodiment, a type associated with the data is determined, and a modified layout is generated based on the type. For example, the layout is differently modified if the data is an electronic document, a spreadsheet, a Web page or another type of data. In one embodiment, the modified layout is displayed on a display and the data and the modified layout are transmitted to a printer responsive to an input confirming the modified layout.

  • Patent number: 8387038
Abstract: A method is provided for automatic computer and user migration. The method may include obtaining a plurality of source computers with corresponding users and preparing the source computers such that at least one software image is created, based on a software inventory, for the source computers to be used to migrate the source computers and the users to a plurality of target computers. The method may also include installing the software image on the target computers and verifying operations of the target computers after the installation.

  • Patent number: 7251653
Abstract: The mapping system maps a physical table of a database to a logical table representing a logical view of the database that integrates standard columns and custom columns. The physical table includes a standard table with standard columns and a custom table with custom columns. The custom table may be implemented as a pivot table. The mapping system provides a map between standard and custom columns and logical columns. The physical table may include multiple standard tables. The mapping system allows for individual standard tables to be updated, rather than updating all the columns across all the standard tables for a row.

  • Patent number: 4848958
Abstract: A deflecting rod reflector is designed for snow removal equipment areas. A cubically formed substantially pentagonally shaped rotatable deflecting reflector is housed in a hollow housing having an opened top and a semi-circular bottom. The housing is recessed flush into a road surface. The reflector can be deflected in two directions by car tires or snow plough blades, and while in the process of deflecting, will eject debris from the interior of the housing. Biasing springs attaching axle pins on the reflector support member to gudgeons in the side walls of the housing return the reflector support member back to a vertical position after the car or snow plow has moved on. The invention can be quickly and easily installed as a one piece unit in road recessions manufactured by equipment already used by California and other road maintenance services.
