    Abstract: Disclosed is a composition comprising (a) one or more compounds selected from the compound of Formula 1 insert Formula 1 here and salts, esters and thioesters thereof, coated on or impregnated into (b) a granular substrate material. The composition is particularly useful for controlling weeds in turf comprising warm-season turfgrasses without causing significant injury to the turfgrasses. Also disclosed is a method for controlling weeds in turf comprising a warm-season turfgrass without causing significant injury to the turfgrass, the method comprising applying a herbicidally effective amount of the composition to the turf.
