    Abstract: Various floral wrapper systems to hold plant/floral arrangements are provided. In one version, the floral wrapper includes a protective outer sheet; and a decorative inner sheet affixed to the inner surface of the protective outer sheet. The protective outer sheet can be folded about the decorative inner sheet to form a pocket for supporting a floral arrangement therein. In another version, the floral wrapper includes a first sheet with a portion removed to form a side and a second sheet with a portion removed to form a side. The first and second sheets are affixed to each other with the first and second sheets partially overlapping each other and with the formed side of the first sheet and the formed side of the second sheet aligned along a line. Additional sheets can be added to modify the structure and ornamental appearance of the floral wrapper.

Movement of the combined sheets into the cutter, and movement of the cutter, are combined by mechanical actuators and or processors to facilitate automated production of the sleeves.

    Abstract: A sheet of material is provided that is pre-folded and pre-glued for the wrapping and packaging of flower bunches and flower bouquets. The sheet of material contains a plurality of lines scored therein. The scored lines are arranged to create a pre-defined folding sequence that forms the desired floral packaging or wrapping. Visual indicia arranged to illustrate the pre-defined folding sequence and markings arranged to compliment the folded shape of the sheet are also provided. A fastening means is provided to secure the folded packaging. The sheet of material is made by scoring the sheet in particular places to mark the fold lines and to facilitate easy and consistent folding. The sheet is then folded across the scored lines and secured.

    Abstract: A decorative container wrap that comprises at least one flexible sheet of material having a plurality of contiguous edges with each sheet of material defining at least two layers joined at a fold. The wrap also includes a first adhesive material located on the sheet along the fold and binding it to one part of the contiguous edges such that the sheet defines a hollow shape. A second adhesive material is disposed on and adhered to inwardly bent portions of the sheet such that the inwardly bent portions define a closed end of the hollow shape. A moisture retaining insert is disposed within the container. Another flexible sheet of material sized to fit within the closed end of the container may also be adhered to inwardly bent portions of the sheet. Included is also a method for creating a wrap.

    Abstract: A system and method for creating folded flower wraps uses a plurality of molds to define one or more lines in a sheet of material for folding to produce a floral wrap. By sequentially placing each one of the plurality of molds in contact with the sheet of material and folding the sheet of material across each one or more of edges of the molds, the sheet of material is moved from the first position through a plurality of intermediate partially folded positions to the second fully folded position. This second fully folded position corresponds to the desired folded flower wrap. The molds are made from material that is sufficiently rigid to provide for the folding of the flexible sheet of material and can be arranged as a plurality of separate, substantially two dimensional molds or as a single, three dimensional mold having a plurality of separate and distinct mold faces.

    Abstract: A sleeve apparatus for retaining cut stems of several different types of plants, where the stems each having a stem cut end, includes a tube of sheet material having a tube upper end and a tube lower end; at least one substantially longitudinal divider formed of sheet material extending across the interior of the tube and joined to cross-sectionally spaced apart points on the tube, defining at least two plant stem longitudinal compartments each having an open compartment upper end and an open compartment lower end, so that at least one plant stem may be fitted longitudinally through each of the compartments to an extent that each stem cut end protrudes out of the tube lower end for immersion in water. The tube preferably is longitudinally tapered to define a truncated cone. The sheet material preferably is flexible. The divider optionally defines compartments of equal size, or alternatively defines compartments of differing sizes.
