  • Publication number: 20240305755
Abstract: Generating luminance uniformity in a rear projection display system is provided. The method comprises calculating luminance generated by a projector on a rear projection screen relative to a design eye position in front of the screen. A baseline luminance is determined for each primary color according to the luminance. Luminance of all locations on the screen is corrected toward the baseline. Correction is allocated between an optical filter and electronic correction. Luminance is measured at calibration points on the screen. The electronic correction for a color image is adjusted according to the allocation and the luminance at the calibration points to produce a corrected color image for projection from the projector. The corrected color image is projected from the projector and through the optical filter. The optical filter is configured to dim specified areas within the corrected color image according to the allocation.

  • Publication number: 20240286355
Abstract: Techniques for improved efficiency of sintering in additive fabrication are described. According to some aspects, mechanisms for depositing and leveling source material are combined with a mechanism for heating the material. In some embodiments, one or more heating elements may be arranged to lead and/or follow a material deposition mechanism such that heat may be applied to the build region in concert with deposition of material. As a result of this technique, the heating and depositing steps may be performed closer together in time and/or heat may be applied more directly to the material than in conventional systems. As a result, greater control over material temperature may be achieved, thereby avoiding excess temperature exposure and subsequent undesirable changes to the material.

  • Publication number: 20240062019
Abstract: The disclosure relates to systems and methods of automatically generating unique content including natural language text based on a corpus of previously generated response documents and discrete requirements defined in a requirements specification. The system may use generative stitching that includes multi-layer processes that execute to influence the generation of unique content including natural language text through an artificial intelligence (AI) language transformer model trained to output the content based on previously written material that is semantically relevant to the discrete requirements and is weighted against labeled attributes. The labeled attributes may determine the influence asserted against the language transformer, thereby generating unique on-target content that may be combined to create a computer-generated response document.

  • Patent number: 11901722
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to methods and apparatus that may collect information relating to a group of electrical power distribution wires, commonly referred to as an electrical branch circuit. Such methods can controllably cause a circuit breaker to open (clear) while keeping the branch circuit loaded within a predetermined set of parameters or specifications. Apparatus consistent with the present disclosure may use multiple high power resistive elements of different resistance values that are selectively connected to the branch circuit in a manner that provides a configurable limit to an available fault current when data relating to the branch circuit are collected and evaluated. Such methods can provide a positive indication to an electrician that allows the electrician to know that a particular electrical circuit has been de-energized before the electrician works on that particular electrical circuit.
