Abstract: Methods, systems and computer readable mediums for designing a virtual interactive learning environment. A model defining visuospatial parameters of a simulated environment is read from memory. The simulated environment, comprising scene object(s), is rendered for display within a Graphical User Interface (GUI). The scene object(s) comprise at least one interactive scene object. Using the GUI, an interactive node is associated with the interactive scene object and defines an interactive action for activation. An action node associated with the scene object is defined using the GUI, for affecting a visuospatial representation of at least one of the scene object(s) following activation of the interactive node. The rendered simulated environment may be re-rendered during the designing of the virtual learning environment when the action node is defined.

The method includes the step of opting in by a subscriber of the plurality of subscribers at the central interactive application provisioning management server for requesting the provisioning of at least one Interactive application of a plurality of interactive applications to the subscriber.

Abstract: The invention is directed to a method for accessing a service platform via an Internet browser session, as well as to a servlet, a service unit and an applet for performing the method. The method is made up of a number of steps. The first step is installing the servlet at a web-server of a content provider having access to this service platform. When a user then tries to use a service of this service platform, the servlet detects whether or not said browser session is already associated to a related service session. If the browser session is already associated to this related service session, it performs predetermined actions related to the service session, such as charging. If the browser session is not associated to the related service session, it returns a web page containing the applet to guide an associated browser of the user through a logon process for the related service session. In the end the user may access the service session via the browser session.

An incoming request is analyzed by the request object analyzer 3 and a corresponding descriptor of the request is created. The descriptor of the request is compared to descriptors of applications and to a descriptor of a logging module by the matcher 4. In case of a match to one of the descriptors of the applications the request is routed to the corresponding application and in case of a match with the descriptor of the logging module a copy of the request is forwarded to the logging module 7 in addition.
