Abstract: A vehicle mounted sign assembly comprises a base member having a top surface, a bottom surface, a leading edge, a trailing edge and side surfaces between the leading edges and the trailing edge, with the side surfaces tapering rearwardly to the trailing edge. The assembly further comprises a mounting assembly configured to support the base member. The mounting assembly comprises a first and a second vertical bars extending through respective openings on the bottom surface of the base member, a first and a second horizontal bars mounted in parallel and positioned between the first and second vertical bars, and a first and a second suction cups attached to respective bottom end of the first and second vertical bars for attachment to the body or a window of a vehicle.

Abstract: A magnetic assembly and method permitting the use of low-cost magnets capable of being fabricated in an efficient and low-cost manner having a plate having a mounting surface and an opposing bottom surface, with a plurality of magnetizable elements, each of which is fitted in a fixture having plural radial wings for holding the magnetizable elements against the mounting surface, and with an over mold of a plastic material covering the mounting surface, the fixture and the bottom surface.

Abstract: A magnetic mounting assembly includes a plate carried within the housing. The plate has a central opening and multiple apertures offset from the central opening with a permanent magnet carried within each of the apertures. A cover is compression fit with the housing for securing each magnet between inside surfaces of the cover and the housing, and within the aperture. A central opening is formed with the housing, the cover, and the plate for receiving a fastener when fastening the assembly to an object.
