  • Patent number: 11293838
Abstract: Devices and systems for track tension measurement and alignment of tracked vehicles are provided. A device for measuring tension on a continuous track includes a shaft having a hollow cross section, a pin disposed at least partially through an aperture of the top end of the shaft, a compression member disposed within the inner volume of the shaft such that the pin contacts the compression member, and a base having a hollow cross section and removably attached to an outer surface of the shaft. When the base is attached to the outer surface of the shaft at a predetermined height, and the pin is depressed into the inner volume of the shaft at a predetermined distance, the distance between the top end of the pin and an end of the base is known.
