  • Patent number: 11977919
Abstract: Techniques for secure and efficient interfacing with a cloud computing service are described. In an embodiment, a cloud computing management service is programmed or configured to communicate with a cloud computing service. The cloud computing management service can be accessed by software engineers that are looking to deploy a software instance to a computing device of the cloud computing service. Thus, the cloud computing management service acts as an intermediary layer in front of the cloud computing service. In an embodiment, the cloud computing management service may store one or more frequently-used system parameters for deployment of software instances. The parameters conform to company's security protocols, compliance protocols, and/or other standards.

  • Patent number: 11960832
Abstract: Machine learning, artificial intelligence, and other computer-implemented methods are used to identify various semantically important chunks in documents, automatically label them with appropriate datatypes and semantic roles, and use this enhanced information to assist authors and to support downstream processes. Chunk locations, datatypes, and semantic roles can often be automatically determined from what is here called “context”, to wit, the combination of their formatting, structure, and content; those of adjacent or nearby content; overall patterns of occurrence in a document, and similarities of all these things across documents (mainly but not exclusively among documents in the same document set).

  • Publication number: 20240075191
Abstract: The disclosed subject matter relates to extracorporeal blood processing or other processing of fluids. Volumetric fluid balance, a required element of many such processes, may be achieved with multiple pumps or other proportioning or balancing devices which are to some extent independent of each other. This need may arise in treatments that involve multiple fluids. Safe and secure mechanisms to ensure fluid balance in such systems are described.

  • Publication number: 20230412676
Abstract: Provided is a process of managing rack-mounted computing devices in a data center with a distributed peer-to-peer management system, the process including: determining roles of data-center management computing devices in a distributed peer-to-peer data-center management system; receiving, via an out-of-band network, a data-center management command at a given data-center management computing device; distributing, based on at least some of the roles, via the out-of-band network, the data-center management command.

  • Publication number: 20230258711
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a system and method for reducing stabilization times. The system includes at least a device-under-test (DUT), a flow generator, and optionally a heat exchanger to accelerate the thermal stabilization of fluid in the DUT during and after it has been filled with test gas. This rapidly equilibrates the temperature of the fluid in the DUT to the heat exchange medium, thereby reducing temperature differentials. The reduced magnitude of the temperature differential reduces the flows associated with temperature change of the fluid due to this thermal stabilization. As a result, this allows the leak test measurement to be made in less time, or for more of the cycle time to be used for leak measurement and, thus increase the accuracy of the test measurement.

  • Publication number: 20230252991
Abstract: Artificial assistant system notification techniques are described that overcome the challenges of conventional search techniques. In one example, a user profile is generated to describe aspects of products or services learned through natural language conversations between a user and an artificial assistant system. These aspects may include price as well as non-price aspects such as color, texture, material, and so forth. To learn the aspects, the artificial assistant system may leverage spoken utterances and text initiated by the user as well as learn the aspects from digital images output as part of the conversation. Once generated, the user profile is then usable by the artificial assistant system to assist in subsequent searches.

  • Publication number: 20230134509
Abstract: A vehicle, electric machine, and method of manufacturing an electric machine include a stator having teeth extending from a yoke portion toward a rotor and defining slots between adjacent teeth with windings positioned within the slots, wherein the slots are coated with an electrically insulating material having an arcuate surface exiting the slots and extending at least partially over the teeth on at least one end face of the stator to form a winding guide for bending/positioning the windings. The winding guide may be formed by a molded epoxy that replaces insulating paper slot liners while providing a template for forming the hairpin bends of end windings.

  • Patent number: 11507285
Abstract: Disclosed is a controller for a disaggregated memory device. The controller may receive a request to allocate memory of a specific size from the disaggregated memory device to a computing device, and may generate a memory block device in the specific size from a memory pool formed from physical memory modules configured on the disaggregated memory device. The controller may expose the memory block device to the computing device as a Non-Volatile Memory Express (“NVMe”) target device, and may control access to the memory block device by converting NVMe access requests in a first format from the computing device to access requests in a different second format supported by the memory block device.

  • Patent number: 11455247
Abstract: Disclosed is a controller for providing applications seamless access to local and remote memory so that data of a particular application that is moved out of the Random Access Memory (“RAM”) of a local device may be stored and accessed in RAM of a remote device rather than on higher latency and slower performing storage mediums. The controller provides an application with a first allocation of RAM from the local device running the application, and a second allocation of RAM from the remote device. The controller registers to receive a page fault notification for a particular page that the application attempts to access and that is not stored in the first allocation of RAM. The controller retrieves the particular page from the second allocation of RAM, and loads it into the first allocation of RAM where it becomes accessible by the application.
