  • Publication number: 20240122636
Abstract: An endovascular near critical fluid based cryoablation catheter for creating an elongated lengthwise-continuous lesion in tissue can comprise an elongated shaft, a flexible distal tissue treatment section, and a distal tip. A plurality of flexible tubes can extend through the distal treatment section to transport a near critical fluid to and from the distal tip. The distal treatment section can also include a flexible fluid-sealed cover or barrier layer surrounding the delivery tubes. The cover and tubes can collectively define a space which is filled with a fluidic thermally conductive media. The thermally conductive media, fluid delivery tubes, and the cover can be arranged such that a flow of the near critical fluid through the tube bundle transfers heat between a target tissue and the distal treatment section of the catheter thereby creating the elongated lengthwise-continuous lesion in the tissue.

  • Patent number: 11922041
Abstract: An example method of threshold voltage offset calibration at memory device power up comprises: identifying a set of memory pages that have been programmed within a time window; determining, for each voltage offset bin of a plurality of voltage offset bins, a corresponding value of a data state metric produced by a memory access operation with respect to a memory page of the set of memory pages, wherein the memory access operation utilizes a voltage offset associated with the voltage offset bin; identifying a subset of the plurality of voltage offset bins, such that memory access operations performed using the corresponding voltage offsets produced respective values of the data state metric that satisfy a predefined quality criterion; selecting, among the subset of the plurality of voltage offset bins, a voltage offset bin that is associated with the lowest voltage offset; and associating the set of memory pages with the selected voltage offset bin.

  • Patent number: 10534047
Abstract: Tunnel magneto-resistive (TMR) sensors employing TMR devices with different magnetic field sensitivities for increased detection sensitivity are disclosed. For example, a TMR sensor may be used as a biosensor to detect the presence of biological materials. In aspects disclosed herein, free layers of at least two TMR devices in a TMR sensor are fabricated to exhibit different magnetic properties from each other (e.g., MR ratio, magnetic anisotropy, coercivity) so that each TMR device will exhibit a different change in resistance to a given magnetic stray field for increased magnetic field detection sensitivity. For example, the TMR devices may be fabricated to exhibit different magnetic properties such that one TMR device exhibits a greater change in resistance in the presence of a smaller magnetic stray field, and another TMR device exhibits a greater change in resistance in the presence of a larger magnetic stray field.

  • Publication number: 20190342106
Abstract: Physically unclonable function (PUF) circuits employing multiple PUF memories to decouple a PUF challenge input from a PUF response output for enhanced security. The PUF circuit includes a PUF challenge memory and a PUF response memory. In response to a read operation, the PUF challenge memory uses a received PUF challenge input data word to address PUF challenge memory arrays therein to generate a plurality of intermediate PUF challenge output data words. The PUF response memory is configured to generate a second, final PUF response output data word in response to intermediate PUF challenge output data words. In this manner, it is more difficult to learn the challenge-response behavior of the PUF circuit, because the PUF challenge input data word does not directly address a memory array that stores memory states representing final logic values in the PUF response output data word.

  • Patent number: 10410714
Abstract: Multi-level cell (MLC) static random access memory (SRAM) (MLC SRAM) cells configured to perform multiplication operations are disclosed. In one aspect, an MLC SRAM cell includes SRAM bit cells, wherein data values stored in SRAM bit cells correspond to a multiple-bit value stored in the MLC SRAM cell that serves as first operand in multiplication operation. Voltage applied to read bit line is applied to each SRAM bit cell, wherein the voltage is an analog representation of a multiple-bit value that serves as a second operand in the multiplication operation. For each SRAM bit cell, if a particular binary data value is stored, a current correlating to the voltage of the read bit line is added to a current sum line. A magnitude of current on the current sum line is an analog representation of a multiple-bit product of the first operand multiplied by the second operand.

  • Publication number: 20170343240
Abstract: A combination cooling and heating fan structure includes an electronic device for controlling a driving device to drive a fan blade assembly to rotate within a first rotational speed range and thereby cause cold convection when the driving device is started alone. The electronic device includes a limiting module for limiting the driving device to rotate within a second rotational speed range, which is smaller than the first rotational speed range, when the driving device and a heating device are started at the same time. That is, when the driving device and the heating device are started simultaneously, the limiting module limits the driving device to rotate within the second rotational speed range for the fan blade assembly to blow hot air through an indoor environment and cause heat convection, which increases the temperature of the indoor environment while preventing quick loss of thermal energy during the heat convection.

  • Patent number: 9121410
Abstract: An oscillating fan with built-in pull-type control switch includes a housing defining a receiving space having a front open end; a driving motor mounted to the front open end of the receiving space and having a first rotary shaft; a blade assembly mounted to the first rotary shaft; at least one pull switch having a selector mounted in the housing and an actuator extended through and located outside the housing; and a control box provided in the receiving space to electrically connect to the driving motor and every pull switch. The actuator includes a pull string having an end connected to the selector and another end hung from the housing by a predetermined length, allowing a user to control the oscillation of the fan via the pull string. Since most fan components are integrated in the housing, the fan occupies only reduced space and is more practical for use.
