  • Publication number: 20180352755
Abstract: This invention provides a cost-effective means for both indoor and greenhouse farmers to use a Modular Light Emitting Diode (LED) Grow Light System to optimize light distribution and integrate natural light. The Modular LED Grow Light System consists primarily of multiple narrow “Linear Modules” connected to two “End Housings” with structure from “Support Braces” that together form each “Grow Rack” within the system. The Linear Modules are longer than their diameter, and the spacing between the Linear Modules is greater than their diameter. This creates spaces between each Linear Module with three primary advantages: more even light distribution, more integration of natural light, and more air flow for natural ventilation.

  • Patent number: 9489529
Abstract: Various exemplary embodiments relate to a method of identifying unauthorized access to a data file on an unauthorized machine. The method includes: modifying the data file to include surreptitious code, the surreptitious code executing on a machine when the data file is opened or otherwise used by the machine; and receiving information transmitted by the surreptitious code, wherein the surreptitious code includes instructions for: gathering information about the executing machine, determining whether the executing machine is an unauthorized machine, and transmitting the information if the executing machine is an unauthorized machine.

  • Publication number: 20140286005
Abstract: A lighting fixture comprising an optimized linear module lighting device and a plurality of parabolic fins. The optimized linear module lighting device comprises a substrate comprising at least first, second, and third portions. The optimized linear module lighting device further comprises a plurality of light-emitting elements. A first set of the light-emitting elements are disposed on the first portion of the substrate; a second set of the light-emitting elements are disposed on the second portion of the substrate; and a third set of the light-emitting elements are disposed on the third portion of the substrate. The second set of light-emitting elements is disposed above at least one of the parabolic fins and is less dense than the first and third sets of light-emitting elements.
